Kroger shops

Each month I except the max shops allowed, since Kroger is my normal shopping spot. These supplement my grocery shopping. And the report is much easier with the "new" MSC.

What is the max? I keep wondering when I'm going to go to schedule one and have them not be available due to hitting the max!

I think it is 2 in store and 1 pick up for each store. There are a lot of Kroger stores in my area so I get a lot of shops to do.

In my area the pickup shops came out with regular shops. Competitor shops came out then too. Including Competitor pickup shops. I'm in Southern California.

No Kroger competitor shops in my area. sad smiley I like any competitor shop if the fee is good.

Have any of you purchased non-grocery items for your competitor shops (i.e. Target or Walmart)? I've purchased cat litter at the Kroger shops with no issues, but was thinking about toiletries or clothing. I did not see anything in the instructions that stated it had to be groceries.
You can buy whatever you’d like besides gift cards.
The system has the limits set. Generally, one can do two in store shops per period, at an unlimited number of stores. (maybe). After that, if one wants to do a third one, it will tell you to email the scheduler.

Some tips: I wanted to do a second shop at a location, but it said to email the scheduler. I moved up my scheduled shop at that location, which then freed up dates and I was able to self-schedule the second one.

In store shops are limited to 4 a day. Try to schedule a fifth, and the system will not let one. Pickups are separate and not counted in the in store daily total. So I could theoretically do 8 shops at day (4 in-store, 4-pick ups).

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I purchased a purse at Walmart. I also got groceries.
You can buy anything you want or need. No one is forcing you to buy only food at the grocery store. And if they see Walmart or Target as competitors, then there is no reason why you can't buy anything that they sell, as long as you stick to the guidelines. Depending on the type of shop it is. The $9 and 3 item minimum for the inside, or the $32 and 8 items for the pickup shops. What is purchased has no bearing on the outcome of the shop.
Yes. Competitor shops are on this round. I was Johnny come lately to them and most were gone.

They go really quickly.

Correct

I bought vitamins, cat litter and a room size air cleaner from Kroger, socks and car stuff from Walmart and baking sheets and pans from Target. The products are irrelevant.

I have no problem inputting my shops on the app.

IMO the app is not bad, I fill in as I shop and upload the receipt in the car while still in the parking lot. Couldn't be easier.

September Kroger shops just posted. Competitor shops are there as well, but no competitor pick-ups listed, at least not yet.
a note to others who do many of these. i ran into an issue today where i could not self assign some full-service and self-checkout shops. i normally max out at two shops per store, per month. i emailed the scheduler listed on the shops for my area asking why i could not self assign, and they said that i have maxed out the amount of shops i can perform at the locations i complete, this year. they said that this is because the client wanted a rotation throughout the year; and followed up saying they cannot break the rotation rule right now. it looks like i’ll be able to complete pick-up shops the rest of the year and still be okay, as it looks like there’s a limit on those, per shopper, per year too.

it’s a little frustrating because i build routes and use this as my literal grocery shopping - if i had known there was a hard cap, i would have held off on some locations and saved some for the last two months of the year.
@charleybuddy thanks forr the information. I do a lot of shops every month. Maybe I should slow down on them.

Same here, but my scheduler still manually assigns them to me.
Yipes I guess that is why I could only get four shops this month usually get 15 to 18
The shops still show up for you though, you just can’t assign? Shops have been going faster than in the past in my area so they must be recruiting more shoppers.
