Five Guys Online Shop: Do I eat it in the dining room?

I was offered a Five Guys online shop. I've always done the regular ones. For the online shop, do I eat it in the dining room? Or just pick it up and take it home to eat?

It's your choice. If you just take it home, you will probably spend less than 15 minutes on site. One of the questions will ask you why you didn't stay longer. You just have to answer it was an online order.

Keep in mind, if you choose to eat it there, you must stay for the full 15 minutes after receiving your order. If you choose to take it to-go, you can leave pronto..but still must check the restroom.

AND you need to taste it/check to see if correct. If it is not correct, they need to offer to correct it.
:-)

I usually peek and leave and taste it in the car.
Schoolmarm, Ms. Judy, Phoebe and Busy Bee have given the exact information I would have given.
I was unable to complete my online shop today (got an error message each of the three tries). Do you think I will get a full or partial shop fee?

Did you get a screenshot of error and input the shop as unable to do. I got that once and input it. I think i got $3.

Online one is the one that’ll just pay $3.

Other shop types, you’ll get 1/2 the fee amount if you go to the site and confirm physically it’s closed.

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
That's what I thought. Bummer!

Not only did I not get the nice bonus that went along with the shop, I'm out of pocket because I had to buy lunch at Qdoba for Hubby and me.

I pick it up and take it home.
Did you try both the app and the website? Both are permitted for the shop.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Exact same thing happened to me recently. Lost a $25 shop fee, no reimbursed lunch plus the gas I wasted on the way because I had another shop nearby.

I always leave and taste it in the car. I feel like it looks a little odd for someone to order online and then eat there. Of course this means I have to hit the bathroom before I pick up the order, which depending on the geography of the particular 5G, can look a little odd itself I guess.
I hustle in with a pained look on my face, and if a crew member greets me, I say that I have to 'go' before I can do anything else.

In NYC people often order to pick up then eat in the dining room. It's to avoid standing in line and waiting. Don't know how well this would work in a less population-dense area.

I do it all the time if I'm on a time crunch.

I have gotten $3 for driving 25 minutes to a location that was supposed to be open (I called to verify) and they were closed.

If I'm buying food from a fast food or casual joint, I 100% use the app whether I'm eating in or not. Selecting your method is frequently part of the ordering process.

Some places tend to bag up all mobile orders on the assumption they're to go anyway, but I've never had an issue taking my bag and sitting down. And 5G only does bags anyway so that's even less of a thing.
