Uploaded wrong receipt. I can't believe I did this.

I was completing a report on the MarketForce website and accidentally uploaded the wrong receipt. I didn't realize it until I submitted the shop. I sent the help desk an email, but doubt I will hear back before tomorrow. Has anyone else done this? I am hoping that it will be an easy fix and my shop won't be rejected.

Unfortunately this company has a habit of automatically rejecting shops with even a single photo or receipt error, rather than giving the shopper the opportunity to correct it. Occasionally, they will get it in time and let the shopper correct it. One issue that I have also had is when I complete shops in two different time zones on the same day. This causes it to appear that my times overlapped, so the computer system automatically rejects all four shops that they consider overlapping shop times. I have to contact the help desk and have them manually validate the shops.
I agree. This MSC rarely gives a shopper the opportunity to correct. Immediately writing the help desk, which you did, was the correct thing. I hope you get an early morning e-mail that they have returned the report to you for correction!
I received a response from the help desk two hours ago. I emailed them the correct receipt and just received the response that they uploaded it. I'm so relieved. I still can't believe I made the mistake, I'm usually so careful about double and triple checking everything before I submit a report.

I did this recently for Second to None (and was so embarrassed!) and they were extremely gracious about letting me fix it.
That's very true about MF. A mystery shopper who has never uploaded the wrong receipt has probably not done enough shops. We all make mistakes. The main thing is to let the company know ASAP. This even helps with MF sometimes.
