Church's no fee

To anyone thinking about picking up a Church's shop this round. The required combo costs $2.99 so with no reimbursement you are looking at maybe $4 in your pocket for these shops that are more involved than you would hope for that amount. Usually it's kinda worth it if the combo costs about $10 but this is a budget meal this round so you are gonna barely be paid anything. I am going to pass on these until I see a $10 fee added.

I think every round these are posted they start with $0. If I'm going to take a chicken assignment and have NO pay, I will take Raising Cane's which does not require pictures or anything else. Plus RC is better anyways (imo).

I won't take either with NO pay.....I'm just saying if I was that desperate and hungry, the choice would be for the easier report (and better food).

These are usually not worth it for no pay, but just pointing out they are especially not worth it this month!

Are yours requiring the purchase of a Texas 2-Piece Feast Chicken combo? I don't ever see combos as low as $2.99. The shops in my area are reimbursing $10, but it's actual reimbursement (unlike JITBox), so they are truly zero pay. Typically they'll start offering minimal pay after they sit on the boards a few weeks.

I confess I just took and completed one of the Church's jobs. It is a busy work day and I was starving but stuck on conference calls when a delivery shop showed up. Grabbed it, ordered and had a free lunch without leaving my desk (other than to retrieve food). I don't usually do reimbursement only shops unless I'm already out or just need a meal.

The sad thing is Church's got the entire order wrong.

Wow, I stand corrected. That is really cheap for a combo, even a small one like that.

How did you get a free lunch? Did they refund your $$ due to receiving the wrong order? And you didn't need to fill out a report?

I should have said will get free lunch. My lunch including delivery & tip was $19 and the MSC will reimburse up to $20.

The delivery ones are ok cause at least you get $20 worth of food and you didn't leave the house. Driving to the location and taking 10 pictures with timing etc for $3 is one of the worst value shops I have ever seen.

I would love to do one of theses delivery shops but 99.9999999 % of the people that deliver do not know what a nice HOT BAG IS for $ 5 or $ 6 But they know what a pack of $ 10 cigs are or some nasty beer is..

I just did one today because I was near the location, i think the total was almost $10.. it’s the 2 chicken, biscuit, one side, and a drink, right?

Was the side a jalapeno?
From the shop description: You must only order the Texas 2-Piece Feast Chicken combo meal, with no substitutions or changes to the sides that come with the meal (includes, honey-butter biscuit, a jalapeno, and a drink).

Yess there was a jalapeno, never had a jalapeno like that before, it was steamed/boiled..

Agreed. The reward is too low for the trouble The last one I completed was a drive through and they wanted inside the restaurant photos. The restaurant is also very slow Way too much trouble and awkwardness for no pay.

They just posted with a fee and you can either do DR or DT.

I know this Church's has either 4 or 5 different sections.. Section 1 and section 2.. LTO specials and Family meals

Section 3 and 4 combo meals

Section 5 side items and drink..

So if I take a picture of the font counter with the cash register and the whole menu board above the cash register,
will my shop still be accepted?

ETA: I just went to the web site and I did not see the Texas 2 Piece Feast listed on the web site?

If I decide to take the shop, and they don't have the special any more, what shall I do?

The manner by which I accept all assignments works perfectly for me. The shops must, in all respects, be acceptable. If any aspects are not to my liking, I pass. Last Dec., I was paid $24+$10 each for two Church's on the same street a mile apart and the dining rooms were closed. I quite enjoy Church's chicken, so, with the peaches to my liking, "I shook the tree."

Definitely not worth it. The in person drive thru or walk in require pictures of the dining area, bathroom and outdoor sign both sides. The walk in requires a picture of the menu board. I could not do these for 4 dollars the cost of gas alone to get to the location makes these shops 0.00 profit for me. Cheaper for me to buy my fried chicken locally without the extra work.

Pretty sure the guidelines say to order a 2 piece mixed.
