Low paying Medicare shops

There is a company whose name reminds me of Naked that has jobs posted for $8.00 to a Medicare company. The calls take a good 30-45 minutes on the phone. The report is very tedious as they ask for detailed descriptions of everything that was said in bullet point format. Editors are off shore and VERY picky- think the poor gals are desperate to make the 10 cents they are paid to buy some curry and beans so they find something wrong with every report sending emails at strange hours as Asian time is very different that EST time saying you must respond or else shop is cancelled. They make every report appear to have major deficiencies. This naked company recently posted shops paying $10 so I figured wow! they are getting the message. Oh no not quite. It is a targeted call center shop. You have to call and find the target. If they are not there you must leave a message for a call back then another all for $10 in addition to doing the shop report from hell. I hope they get the idea that their cheapness is disgusting and annoying. Warning to anyone seeing these they are NOT WORTH IT!

I figure I made roughly $2.50 an hour the last time I took an assignment with this MSC. Ditto on long, cumbersome reports, and ditto on assignments that require multiple phone calls to complete.

yes they are VERY cheap and the annoying foreign editors who send ridiculous emails asking for clarification when none is needed makes them not worth doing.
I am sure the foreign editors are just trying to make a living like everybody else. They have no control over the pay rates.

Foreign editors seem to dissect reports asking very petty questions. If you do not mind their questions then do the shops. I sent one of their emails to the project manager and she agreed the request for clarification was not needed. My report was complete and well written. She indicated the editor would be told not to send such requests and apologized to me. The request demonstrated a basic lack of understanding of Medicare coverage which as a senior with years of Medicare shop experience I have. Certain companies seem to hire editors who feel the need to justify their jobs by downgrading scores and criticizing reports. This company is one of them. Not worth working for peanuts and then having dung thrown on me.
