Have you Encountered Another Mystery Shopper

I was doing a rural gas station 400 miles from home when a gentleman walked up to me and said "I hope you're getting a huge bonus for this one". LOL! We had a nice chat, but I never told him I had earned $600 before noon that day....

I cannot be certain, but I suspect I am sometimes not the only shopper in hotels when I stay. Recently I was wandering around the public areas when I heard a guest approach a housekeeper and ask for directions to the pool. That sounded suspicious. I've also been seated at a bar beside someone who is attentively watching every drink being made and where the cash goes. So probably. But I would NEVER ask them or out them, because we're supposed to be MYSTERY shoppers.

I have done several medicare shops last week and this week and I have seen the same woman at 3 of them,at 2 of them she was sitting one chair over from me and I could see she had a tape recorder in her hand. These were for the same insurance, just different sales agents. I know in my area there are a couple MS companies advertising these shops other then the company I am doing them for.

I think the Medicare shops have replaced the mattress store shops as the "worst shops ever" in my book. I have not done one in person but I have done some phone call shops. If they are anything like the phone call shops....I can't imagine sitting there for 30 minutes.
I had a similar interaction at a Yellow Gas station shop, when I watched an OP taking a photo of the main ID....LOL.
Many years ago, I was a DM for a fast-food chain. I was sitting across the street from a restaurant late at night with a stop-watch timing the DT. A police car rolled up and asked if I was casing the place.
Finally happened today. I was mystery shopping a supermarket and while I was over picking out some brick cheese as part of my purchases, a woman came along and started scanning all the shelf tags with her cellphone. She clearly wasn't an employee of the market, either, as they all wear company-branded apparel.
