MAO - Five Guys for $100 - Did it Get Accepted?

I am still waiting....

5G dinner shop on the board for $40. This is a hard to shop, rural location.

I did an MAO for $100.

Let's see what happens!

My sister made a MAO on a hard-to-fill location for $35 on one that was on the board for $30 earlier this evening. Rejected. I think they also rejected her $32 second offer.
They rejected my $33 MAO on a "before they close" shop that's been on the board for at least 3 months. I've done this location many times for $30 and one, very recently for $33.

The other day I got a call and I got $100 total, including the reimbursement for a shop. Ever since I did that location, I keep getting Samantha offers to go back for $40 total including reimbursement.

There's no telling what they might do. I think there must be different people approving/disapproving the MAO. You never can tell.
Happy Thanksgiving!

My offer was not accepted sad smiley

I have found that when I accept 5G shops at $30 or $40, the future Samantha offers generally come in $1 or $2 below that amount.

Oh well, there's always next time.
You didn't want to lower your bid $3 to $97 :-)

I have done some $40 MAO. They have been accepted from time to time.

I won't do a 5g for under $30. $30 is my minimum because I get the bigger burger and go over by like $4. So really my $30 is like $26.

Basically, once you accept a shop at a low fee with this particular MSC, it will be very difficult to get more $$$ for the same shop later. They can look at your record and tell exactly what you've done it for. You must be pretty persuasive to get them to give you more. I have used: That time, I was on a route and worked it in. Now you're asking me to drive there and back for one shop, and i've gotta cover the expense of that drive.
Im striking out on the $100 shops. There was a $100 Levi shop in Garden City, NY available. I offered $125 as it is a bit of a hike and for those that know, Roosevelt Fields Mall is madness on Black Friday weekend. Someone else got the shop.

I’m off to the casino. Maybe I’ll have better luck.
I can't even fathom a $100 5Guys shop.

Oy, Roosevelt Field. I live about 4 miles away and wouldn't shop there on a bet. It's madness on a lot more days than Black Friday.

Truth. I think $40 is my record.

I saw a $75 dinner shop in Rutland, Vermont last summer. I was passing through and opened the app. I would have taken it if I had been in the area later in the day, but I was not. Next time.

I got $50 time for a last minute late night shop that I happened to be close to. Normally I get around 30.
Hats off to all of you! I get $25 -30 per shop and I am tickled pink.

I get $85 for a super out of the way location all the time. I just saw some $110 plus reimbursement oil change shops via a different MSC for a few fairly inconvenient locations.
I think $45 is the most I've ever gotten for one. I just got a Samantha offer for $29, which is what I did the location for last time, but, like Cease says, I was on a small route in the area already. I'm not driving nearly 1.5 hours r/t for $29!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I have consistently MAO for $35. One was posted today at $25 for shopping starting today for the rest of this week.
My offer was declined. I am thinking it is because it is the start of the range. It will probably be mine by the end of the week when I will MAO for $40!
I must've accepted some low ones 10 years ago. I can't get much. They call every single day and haggle and reject me. I always stand pat. $25-$30 is my usual. Lately I'm saying $35 and they won't touch it. They say "$18 is the maximum" or "$25 is the maximum" Haha. Those two statements are contradictory.
I just did one that was offered on the board for $30. It didn't have a MAO attached, so I took it at the offer. I haven't seen an offer of $30 around here for.......ever?
I know I got $60 for a 'closing' shop many years ago. Haven't got close to that since, though.
I'm doing a new to me location on Saturday for $10.

I only do a few Five G each year. But, never below $10 per guy.

I got a call from a scheduler today offering something like $25 for a shop that I got a $34 Samantha offer for. I asked for the $34, but she said she couldn't go that high. The distance is too far for me to go for less than that if I'm not doing a route. The extra $$ would pay my gas if I just went there for a 5G shop. We left it that if she could offer more later, she'd call. Usually my Samantha offers are less than what I get on MAO or from a scheduler. I don't know what's going on except that the location she called about is hard to fill for any shops. If there's a lack of shoppers in that area, maybe I should look at doing small routes there a couple of times a month! I've done two routes recently that were quite profitable.
