Jiffy Lube

Anyone done these before? The prices seem to be all over the place and with a 2-hour minimum visit.

The current MSC pays way too little for this project. Don't bother.
The ones around DC and suburbs are just for as long as it takes to get an oil change.

Shopping from the Carolinas to New York

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
The MSC for Jiffy Lube pays after 6 months. I performed a retail store shop for them I had to put out 40.00 out of my own pocket to make a purchase. After 2 months I started emailing them for my payment. After 4 months I gave up and decided I would never shop for them again. I was very surprised when I finally got paid 6 months after the shop was performed. I would not bother doing shops for them unless you want to chase pay for a very long time.
There are several MSCs that do Jiffy Lube shops. Most pay much more promptly. 30-45 days. I have never had to chase pay from them.

In my area Jiffy Lube was assigned to an MSC to was purchased by a larger MSC. Jiffy Lube shops then went to an MSC that has its head quarters in ASIA. I have not seen Jiffy being shopped by any other MSC. I really hope Jiffy goes to more dependable MSC in my area so I can shop them again.
Call first and ask the price before accepting this shop.

FYI: The Chrysler dealership oil changes are not worth doing unless bonused $30.00 as the oil change totals far exceed the $75.00 reimbursement. They have flagged shoppers and are doing everything to frustrate you from ever returning again.
I was thinking of trying a Chrysler shop. Probably not now...what all is expected?

I agree the price exceeds $75 for a full synthetic oil change. I would take my vehicles to Honda for an oil change at a pretty similar cost (about $100) if these shops weren't available so I view it as a $75 coupon. I am just fine trading 30 minutes of my time for $75 off. I would spend the time driving to the dealership & sitting there while the service was completed anyway so that time isn't calculated into my per hour figure. I have not had the personal experience of being frustrated to keep me from returning. Maybe I have done well to not get flagged as a shopper???
There are 4 dealerships in my area that I rotate oil changes. Two are much closer than the other two and I visit those more often. I take either my 2022 Honda Odyssey (and before that it was a 2010 Honda Odyssey) or my husband's 2016 Honda CRV. In less then 2yrs I have 50k on my Odyssey so oil changes are necessary quite often. Some customer service is better than others, with a service advisor walking me to my vehicle this past January and opening the door for me, waiting till I was seated to close the door and wish me a nice day.
Meineke had online coupons for $25.00 oil changes. Will skip the Chrysler shops next time unless the fee is at least $30-35, otherwise I am losing money.
