How many shops in one day?

Hey all~ Question: how many shops do you normally complete in 1 day? When I lived in a Metropolitan and used public transport, I did max 3. When I lived in a rural area, driving myself, I completed 6. But this isn’t “normal” per se, it’s just happened once or twice. I’m aware that it will depend on the length of time for each shop, distance from each other, etc. But curious minds would like to know~

I've done as many as 10 or 12 in a day. Depends on the project. Phone shops or online shops, I can do more.
Yes, there was no specificity. I'm sure someone could complete easily 20 or more shops in a day if they were phone calls.

My max in 1 day IN PERSON (I rarely do phone shops) was 13 shops. I was handing out fast food like I was a mobile homeless shelter. They were all drive-thru shops. I'm sure some people were thinking why is my sandwich missing a topping. It was the shop that required special order and pics of the food.

I try now to keep it under 10 in 1 day. I don't need the money that bad.
The problem I have is I can complete shops, but can I complete the reports in the required time frame.
When I'm serious and trying to make some money, and the stars align I can do 7-10. Usually I try to do one a day just for fun and to make a little money.
My top number is 18 at an airport and 17 traveling.,For both, though, I was permitted to enter the reports the following day.
13? Here I was thinking I was doing something with 6. That must have been fun! Also, how kind of you to give them away. I’m sure you made a lot of people happy that day!

Sometimes airport shops get tight and I get stressed. I did a gate shop, four club shops, restaurant shop at airport, inflight shop, three more club shops, gate shop and a final restaurant shop in airport in one day of traveling. That was a lot of names and pictures.
Right! As someone mentioned before, completing the shops would be a breeze, but it's reporting them in the same day that I'd find difficult.
I recently did 10 banks on a one-day route. 1 was an account opening, 2 were account inquiries, 2 were drive-thru tellers, and 5 were inside tellers. Two different banks. I think that is my record for banks in a single day. I think that my record in pre-covid days was 18 shops of assorted types on a single, very long day route. I was not quite as youth-challenged then either.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I once did 15 Medicare telephone shops, all with different scenarios - and accents. smiling smiley But I can't do more than 6 in person shops with reports.

Shopping domestic and international locations since 2003.
I think eight or nine is currently my record. It depends on the kind of shop for me. Today I did seven and I kind of feel like my brain is mush. For me, it depends on the amount of driving as well as how onerous the reports are. I have some I like a lot and could probably do a dozen easily, if I could ever find that many.
The number of shops is relative to the shop types, though. You could easily do 30 10-minute shops, like the debit card instashop by walking a city with many locations. But if you have to spend 2 hours writing each report, you would likely schedule far fewer shops for the day.
My max day was 23. A combination of bank teller shops and gas stations, with 2 fast food shops to eat. I started at 8 am and finished at 11:30 pm. I was actually able to keep the reports up with a strong cell signal that day, but I had permission for next day reports on the route.
My average day of easy timewise shops in person is probably 6. My max all-time probably 25 long day. I also have days with 1-3 good payers that don't take long. I think my most stressful is a day with 3 EPMS apartment shops. Usually, I like to do any day with 4 or more shops that they be the same shop just multiple locations.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I don't look at it as how many shops I'm doing per day as much as I'm focused on how much I am earning. Reaching my weekly goal drives how many shops I do per day.

That's an interesting perspective. I normally look at how much money is involved in the shops I take.
I do 6 to 10 most days. On a good day I'll do 15-18, depending on what they are. I've done as many as 30. (I got permission to turn my reports in the following day for that one)
One of the keys is that if I'm doing the same shop over and over I'll keep my narrative comments consistent. I keep a list and just copy and paste when they fit. If they don't - great, I have a new one for the list. I've built up a good list of standard comments for each type of shop I do. I have NEVER had a complaint by a reviewer that my shops say the exact same thing.
I can understand that. What is your weekly goal?
I think my record is like 43 Marathon/ Citgo gas stations @$23 each... this was about 6 years ago and the total route took 3 days and was about 100 shops
A couple is usually all I do in one day. I don't enjoy doing several, or doing several reports.

Exactly why I now do most shops on apps. Report completed and submitted on site is SUCH a time saver. I used to just dread driving home knowing I was facing hours of reporting on top of an exhausting day!

Frankly, I'm really glad I got the iPhone and learned this stuff. I'm no expert, but I muddle through!!!

I find myself no longer motivated to accept shops that require my PC for reporting. Marketforce, can you hear me?

I think I've done 8-10 with a carefully planned route. I've been known to be gone from the house for 12 hours on a Saturday or Sunday sometimes.....

I really should cut back, but after a financially disastrous divorce, it's mentally difficult for me to turn down free groceries and food and such, even though my finances are in much better shape now.
I will do one shop far and few in between now. I am very selective, especially since I am not around the areas that I need to be nowadays without extra effort, time and expense. IIRC, I think I did 5-6 retail shops while at the mall one weekend many, many, many years ago. That was a first and last for me. I will do fine dining, bank shops for cash and retail in that order. I do miss my cosmetic shops. The offers that I have been given recently are half of the fee and no reimbursement from pre-covid times. No thank you. I will pay for my stuff myself..
I did not know that that app existed. I just found it in PlayStore and am downloading it. I will try it out on Many Men next week. The reviews on PlayStore are not very good, but I am willing to give it a try.

Success so far. My assignment is there.

The number of shops I strive to complete in one day varies. It depends on how many shops it takes to earn $100 for the day. On a two-day (1300 miles) out of town route earlier this month, I completed 14 shops the first day and 12 the second day. Most were completed on-site via smartphone app.
I'm not sure what my highest number of jobs in one day is, maybe 18. But I usually only like to work 3-4 hours a day so most days I only do around 7 jobs.
I will do one or two narrative heavy (ie, apartment shops) with 6 nearby easy (cell, convenience store, etc) shops.

Interesting story about shops, not my most, but a pretty interesting situation.

I had two bonuses approved shipper shops at Staples scheduled. They were about 15 minutes apart. I was mailing items I sold on eBay. I get to the first location and ship my item, and for some reason I opened the Instacart app. There was a 1 item shop at that staples, paying decent with a tip. The drop off location was on the way to the next Staples.

I accept the batch and deliver the item. Head to the next Staples. Ship my item and what the hell, I’ll open Instacart again. There is an order for a few items. The delivery address? Three houses down from mine.

Made some decent money being in the right place at the right time.
