Yeah, sadly here too. Sonic shops were still available with the old MSC through December in my area, but now I don't see them anymore for January onwards. They are finally showing up for me with the new MSC in my area (hadn't been available previously). I used to get bonuses from the old MSC, so the $10 fee with the new MSC is not great. Hopefully they will also be bonused later on.
Don't know the future. But I have been paid $30 each for Sonic shops with the new MSC and I've heard rumors of $40 or more from other shoppers.
@Morledzep I guess that's good to know. The shops I see listed now are from Jan 2-10 for the $10 fee and $10 reimbursement. Do you typically see a fee increase later on in the month, and if so, can you share approximately when? If you've done Sonic shops with the old MSC in the past, do you think the new MSC's requirements are about the same, easier, or harder/worse?
I'm a bit sad the old MSC lost the client, since I was so used to doing these Sonic shops with them that it was almost second nature for me, lol. I hope it won't be too much of a change if I start doing shops with the new MSC.

The biggest change as far as I can tell, is the picture of the front of the building. The menu is the same, but you can add and subtract stuff from your meal now. I haven't, because we still can't order chicken, so getting mayonnaised isn't much of an issue.. lol

I know with the old MSC I was able to take off the cheese and the mayo and I was able to add BBQ sauce.. Will be nice if you can order chicken on this shop

I saw a couple of left over shops from Dec about two days ago but I don't remember what the bonus was... This was one about two hours from me..

On the report, there is a question close to the top that says please upload picture of the store front or something to that effect.
ETA: On the report, it is right under the question (were you able to complete this shop).. Well it is on my report

I received an email 12/31 for Sonic that "must" be completed 12/31 and the bonus was $4.

I did a few of these with the new MSC while I was in TN for several months. They wanted the exterior picture, the time the screen says the carhop is coming with the food, and to check the restroom. Now, I'm back in IL and those have just switched to the new MSC for January. I didn't see the timing for the carhop message required, nor was visiting the restroom mentioned. I guess different regions have different requirements?
I have been paid $75.00 with new MSC 4 times. several $45.00. Not sure if those bonuses will hold up going forward.

The biggest bonus I've seen is $30 for a location 37 miles from here.
I found that The New company found it harder to get ANYTHING out of them on ANY shop. If you can find out who the PM is and deal with them directly you stand a better chance of a Bonus I have six shops that are in AZ and NM that are over 100 miles round trip, I am anxious to see when they will bonus these and at what price.
In my area, the shop fee was usually under $10 with the old MSC. In December, my fees for 3 were $15 each. I usually only did a few in a year's time. So starting at $10 is nice. I'll be interested to see if it goes up towards the end of the month.

I haven't done one yet. Seems to be many of the ones in So Cal are flying off the board with the new company. Wonder if people will get tired of them and it will slow down like it did with Panda shops.
It looks like each location (in So Cal) is shopped for both the drive-thru and then the dine-in car scenarios. They haven't mastered how to schedule with Sassie because there are shops available with no dates to select. Not sure what the client/msc expect for a break between shops, but shops can't be scheduled now for some locatoins because of the dates the others were taken. I was going to do one, but the available dates were blank. Looking at another location that was rural and did not have anything schedules yet...showed me dates to select.
I'm hoping Sonic follows the Panda schedule where as the month progresses, so does the fees. By the end of the month...it will be the highest amount since they have to finish.

I haven't used the new MSC for a Sonic shop yet because last month my area did still have the old one. I did get a generic type email from the new MSC at the end of December that had one that needed done immediately and they were offering $12. I assumed they were trying to fill the last of December, so I was kinda disappointed in seeing the $12. Most everyone I did last month for the old MSC was between $21 and $35. (I almost think the old MSC had no shopper in the area but me)

Anyone else experiencing this with the new company? The Sonic jobs are listed on the board with a current date range, but then all the dates on the calendar for self-assigning are grayed out. I've always been able to self-assigng with this company, so I wouldn't have thought it's unique to me, but who knows?
There must be a separation period between shop dates. Sassie currently does not know when the last person shopped. So once one is picked, the rest is grayed out.
I'm sure they will send another email with availability soon and those will be available.

When I did my, I said I would like the xx combo please no cheese.. The order taker then ask me if I wanted tots/fries and then asked for my drink.
I have always been charged a combo meal

Who is the new MSC? I've been shopping Sonic for many years and my scheduler just told me they had lost the account.

@mystery2me @GSRshops The way I read the guidelines, you are supposed to order each item individually. Let's say it is a Sonic Cheeseburger, Tater Tots, and a soda. This gives the order taker the opportunity to upsell which you are to indicate in the survey. When they say what size soda, say medium and see what the order taker's response is. It will be marked as a combo meal which is the cheaper price.

I think if you plan it well, you can add a Sonic to your route to get a reimbursed OK fast food meal that is at minimum a 17 minute stop. I wonder if it is best to take a picture of the building as you are rolling up, rolling out, or just get out and take a pic. during the 10 minute required stay. What have you guys done? I pretended to be on a phone call, got out of my parked space, walked to the front and took a couple of covert images, and walked back to the car. You do the restroom check after you get the food
