Beware of idiots

I just received an e-mail from an editor telling me the shop was rejected for "quality assurance" reasons. Supposedly I did the shop on the wrong day yada yada yada. After looking at the code numbers of the shop and comparing it to my spreadsheet, it's for a shop that I'm supposed to do a few days from now. I wrote back a sweet little note asking how I screwed it up when I haven't done it yet. I await their answer.

Not too long ago, I got an e-mail from an editor about a restaurant shop I completed the previous night. I had also completed the report the same night at 10 PM. Her e-mail said that I had submitted the wrong receipts - that I had attached receipts from a previous report at a different location - and asked that I submit the correct receipts immediately. I had done an identical shop at a different location two weeks earlier. I opened the pdf copy of the report to see what wrong receipts I submitted......the receipts in the report file were the correct location from the night before. I forwarded the pdf copy of the report to her .....never got a response, the shop log changed to Received and my rating became 10........ go figure......

I got a complaint that I had not submitted a receipt. According to my fax report, it had gone through without issue. I replied by email that I was resending, and then did so. The following day I got a complaint that I had submitted the receipt twice. . .

That one made me LOL!

I got marked down once for not evaluating a hotel parking lot, at a downtown location were the hotel had no parking lot. I had mentioned in the report that there was no parking lot.

When I send a note explain the mistake was on the the part of the MSC, they left the score in place and changed the reason for the mark-down to the report requiring a follow up email. I gave up arguing it at that point...
Steve, that's the kind of thing that burns my biscuits. LOL
I went on a upscale retail, but, it was a men's shop...all the suits were too large to try on. (Hugo Boss)

Live consciously....
When companies do that to me I stop accepting their shops. ;ie, The desert restaurant company starting nit picking at my shops that I was accepting every month. Then the coconut fell out of the tree and it hit me, "Why am I doing these God awful Long, tiresome reports for a gift card?" I stopped accepting them and sure enough, I've been called about 3 times to do more. No wonder I could always get them each month.

I got a request to clarify an ID on signage for a bank. I went back in to Finish Shop, updated to state clearly which format the bank was (not) using. Submitted and shop then showed Complete.

24 hours later, I get the same request from a diff editor. I told her to read it and tell me what I had not said clearly. Her response was "Oh, I didn't read the report, it just showed Incomplete". I called BS. I got a 10 rating on it within literally-5 minutes.
