Visa Pay Shops

How are these shops? I keep avoiding them because it seems difficult to take so many pictures discreetly during the checkout process but maybe I'm reading too much into it. Also do they reimburse or is it only $8 pay? I didn't see any reimbursement info.

The reimbursement is up to $5. So low pay, low reimbursement.

I have done this shop and have done the image portion by taking pictures and doing a video and then using screen shots. In the past they have been forgiving with picture quality, but I remember getting pixel error messages from the screen caps as well as just images.

I think taking pictures is more challenging since the transaction might go quicker than what you are prepared for so you could miss a shot or two of the process. The report is easy enough.

A few cycles ago there were more locations available, so you could do a route just of that type of shop since they were in a cluster. Since then I have only seen at most three pop up at the same time. This time I have only seen one location pop up at a time.
but the big problem: you need to take pictures and after ask if they have surcharge. If not you shall leave.

I don't like these at all. Did a couple of then and I found it difficult to get the pics. Most of the ones are tiny little shops where there is nobody in the store except you and the employee. Its very uncomfortable. And its sad because there are probably about 50 of these near me for $10 each.
@gene & @datagirl the OP is talking about a different Visa shop which requires you to make a purchase using a Visa card with the contactless symbol. These shops do not require you to speak to the cashier at all. The OP is asking about the $8 shops and not the one that pays $10 and requires you to use a Visa debit card after asking qualifying questions to determine if a purchase is required.
The contactless Visa shop is easy and worthwhile. I did only one and found it pretty painless. I took a video of the process and screen shotted (word?) to get the photos. There is a $5 reimbursement for it. I avoid the other ones where you have to ask about the fees.
