1P Tech Hardware Jobs anyone done them

Has anyone done these 1P Tech Hardware Jobs?

I saw a bunch of 1P Tech Hardware Jobs pop up and they have raised the number of available jobs in the area. There seem to be 3 per store and have different scenarios -- mid-Tier Android, Premium Apple, etc.

Are they similar to the Electronics Mystery Shopping (EMS) jobs? The EMS pay $16 and a couple of weeks ago many were saying $16 was too low and they got bonused due to the pre-sale date ending.

If the 1Ps are paying $12, they must be super short and easier than EMS, right? The 1Ps have a quiz.

Just my opinion, but I'd never again do one of these for $12. I haven't done one of either type in a long time, but I don't think the $12 ones are much easier than the others. They're not "short & easy," at least not for $12! I don't think either is worth the time. The ones at the branded locations are a pain unless well bonused. They want to sell you a plan, not a phone, so getting them focused on the phone can be difficult. And often the salespeople don't know a lot about the phones, so getting the information you need can be like pulling teeth.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
They're taking up too much space on the job board. Wish there was a way to hide specific projects.

sort by project name at least all those will be together without ones you want hiding among them

And I'll still have to scroll forever because they're all listed first! Oy vey.

This.

For $12, they aren't worth it. Assume 30 minutes per location between drive time, waiting and the sales pitch. The report is narrative heavy, more so than the Electronics shops, yet they pay less. Report takes 15-20 minutes to complete. IP Tech is for one client (a behemoth who certainly could pay more) and Electronics is for another client hence the different pay rates I suppose.
The IP take longer for the report due to narrative. Time in store is similar. I don't think they are worth it at $12 maybe $20 but should be $25 starting. The electronic ones are easier and starting pay is $4 more at $16. You could technically do the double dip if a location has both the electronics and IP shops. $12 plus $16 is $28 so that way could be worth it. Shops are similar just ask about the G company phones for IP and the S Company phones for the Electronics and you can then fill out both reports. Other than February I have never seen them get bonused. The bonus to $25 on the electronics was nice and I made bank.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

Yep. I pretty much won't do them unless they get up to $25, but that's very rare in my area. $20 if the location is less than 10 minutes away. I did another MSC's phone shop a couple months ago for $40, and it was a lot less work than these two shops,

As was mentioned, they pay 25% less. And the work is way more than 25% more. Even when they have been bonused I do not feel it was worth the work. They do not require a selfie.
They just put some of the IP shops on Presto. But in the fashion that is now the norm at IPSOS, the guidelines were incomplete and conflicted wtih the survey questions. I'm wondering if they laid off their QA department. So if you take one of these on Presto, know that you must OWN the device thats listed in the scenario (if you are doing this on Presto, no change on Sassie). While IPSOS has retreated in to their dark cavern of silence on the subject, they did update Guidelines this morning so they are aware of the problem (but hope that you will read their minds to find out!).

Still not worth it for $12, but dont want anyone to get duped if they do take this on.
The $12 ones are same amount of work almost as the $16 ones. I have done alot of both.
They went up to $16.00, in many areas, but still not worth it. A narrative required after each series of questions to fully explain why you chose the answers ticked off on the form. You could fill out the report for two EMS shops in the time it takes to fill out one 1P shop.
How much did you write for the narrative. I basically did a sentence. I’m waiting to see if the editor wants more. Hope I hear from them before I go on to do anymore. Also the scenario I had to do (current customer looking for mid-range phone) - there are no phones in the price range they gave me. Why don’t the these phone companies have a clue bout new phone prices lol.
For example, if you checked off the salesperson was knowledgeable about the how the proposed phone works, you have to thoroughly explain what you mean, what they said and did that demonstrated their knowledge. Each narrative block has to include a thorough breakdown of why you selected certain descriptors for the interaction regarding that particular section of the report.
You can get as detailed with the narrative as you like, but they don't require much at all. I've done a lot of these, and I've found that a sentence for each narrative section results in a 10 feedback score. When all they're paying is $12, if they're happy with a sentence, I'm more than content to provide it.
