Unreadable receipts

I've noticed that when a store gives me a receipt from an almost-out-of-ink printer, they also seem to be lax about other things. Today I did the super-easy gas shop and saw cleaning materials stored in the restroom and the two cashiers were having a personal conversation. The receipt was so light that I had to work a while to make it readable. A few months ago when Jack-in-the-Box had so many shops, they added a question about the quality of the receipt print. The places with clear receipts seemed to have hot, fresh food. Just sayin'. If I were a client, I would want it checked.

And you will get the editor that will place the shop on hold stating the receipt provided is not legible, as if it's our fault.
@383803 Exactly! It is our fault that some pixels are shot on the printer and there is a line that just shows up white on the receipt paper from the top to the bottom where the amount falls. I get it, some of those printers are $500.

I remember going back in to a store and asked them if they could give me a correctly printed receipt on another register since I needed to forward it to accounting and said they've been very particular lately, but they didn't how to do that. I put some info in the comments section and I think it was accepted without a screenshot of my transaction at that store.
