USPS

I haven't seen any for a while and hope they will return at the beginning of the next quarter. Does anyone have any insight?

We're at the end of the quarter, as you said. But I do have a couple Regular Box and Hazmat on the board here, so they are present.
I just did 6 that were nicely bonused — I hadn’t done them in a long time (pre-pandemic) — usually stay on the Sassie side of the MSP, so was happy to see them… there weren’t as many as I remember so I wonder if they are selectively picking POs vs doing all of them like before.
There are increased fees on the hazmat shops here locally, and a smattering of reg. box shops at base pay. I have some stuff to send to a friend, and I should do it soon. But...
A scheduler once told me that the higher-volume locations got shopped monthly, and others once a quarter.

I got a text yesterday offering some bonused reg box shops, but I didn't end up with any. They were too far away and the scheduler seems to have gotten a bargain from another shopper.

Morledzep:what type of bonus do you see offered? Mine only ever go up $5 from base pay.

Not Morledzep, but thought I'd share. I did one for $20 last month, and one for $25 last summer. Unfortunately, most of the time, they don't go for more than $15 where I am.
I have done routes in KS and OK paying $l00-125 per shop. Long ago (maybe in a galaxy far away?)

I used to get $60-80 regularly for a few locations. (About 90 minutes away)

Are these bonuses were not offered on the job board, they were a text message from the scheduler. And the pay offered were $35 to $50 a piece. In the past, I have done USPS shops for up to and including $100 per location when they were in a time crunch. But I should say that we haven't seen those kind of numbers around here since the start of the pandemic.

The regular box shops that were $12 yesterday are now $15 through the end of March. There are still about 30 locations that have higher fees (there is a pagosa springs co for $100)

On the hazmat shops, you admit there is something questionable in the box. Can they deny the process to go forward? Or do they simply tag it with a marker, i.e. liquid.
Morledzep: Wow. You must be quite the apple of the scheduler's eye to get personalized texts about these shops. I need some of your karma to rub off on me!!!
I texted everyone who had done the locations left that we have to have done and are paying more than the base - but they are also all online smiling smiley

I find this It to be a common practice among schedulers. if I've done a location, I'll get text and e-mails asking to do it again when It's not being picked up .
Yes, a shopper who has completed a shop before successfully is a good go-to

Yep, I get this all the time. Unfortunately it's usually locations that I've done while at a softball/baseball tournament so HOURS away and no chance of going back for a while. (Especially when it's winter season and only play tournaments about once a month)
