Test Discover Cards

Has anyone done these shops where the MSC mails you some Discover cards and you have to test them at specific locations? I was reading through instructions and my first impression is its too much work for the dollars they are offering. Interested in anyones experience with this.

It's been a few years but they had given me a whole area to work, so in bulk, I thought it was worth it. The three cards are chip, contactless and debit or prepaid, correct? It is pretty confusing at first but after you get a few done, it starts flowing nicely. Plus, you get to buy stuff on their dime.

I haven't seen them since 2019.... loved them then.

I just checked that job board and if it's the same company then they aren't in my area.

Wasn't the tricky part taking a quick picture of the error message on the card reader if a card is declined?

It's been a long time so I don’t remember too clearly but probably. Somehow I pulled off two counties' worth of testing with only one or two mess-ups.

I did a bunch of these, they are actually really easy. Sometimes some of the pictures can be tricky to take but just plan accordingly and have your excuses ready.

Edit: The actual hard part of this shop is entering it. The forms are a standard form but they provide many scenarios, some of which are not covered in the form in a logical manner. You may have to spend some time on the phone with the company to figure them out. I did that but after awhile you get the gist on how to deal with the situations that aren't accounted for and can be self sufficient.

Hints on the MSC, please?

Is Christy Ensley there scheduler? She promised to let me do some a couple years ago and I never got any.
