Kroger pick up ordering question

If I have a pick up at one Kroger Monday then another Kroger Tuesday, once I place the Monday shop, can I place the Tuesday pick up shop order? I have never had back to back shops so no clue. Thanks

Yes you can. I have had up to 3 pick up orders placed at a time. You can place one right after the other. The most i do is 3.

Peg, how? After I place an order I can't make a second order at a different store for the same day until I pickup the first order. I've tried everything I know except using a different credit card. Mostly because I don't have another card that I can use easily.

James, once you pick up the first order you can make yor order for the next location. I am doing 3 pickup shops in one day. I will make the first order for 10 am, and I'll show up a little late (kroger doesn't care). Then as soon as i get my email receipt for the first order, I place the second order, and take the earliest time available. By that time its after 11:00 and I can do the inside, and fuel center shops before going to the next store. If its a short drive, and a long wait in between, we move to the city we need to be in for the next shop and my son does door dash while we wait. Then we repeat the previous steps. Though sometimes the last store has to be done backwards, the inside and fuel center before the pickup, because they have to be done before 19:00. And if it's the Friday before a holiday weekend, we only do 2 stores..

What happens when you try to place a second order? I have had an issue in the past when I would get an error. For a long time I have not had an issue placing multiple orders. I don't use a second card for different orders. When I did have an issue I was able to place one via my phone when the computer wouldn't let me. Maybe you could try that?
I have no problem placing more than 1 order. I use the app and same card for each of them.

Olympia,
The Kroger app says there is a technical problem, they can't process my order, and that I need to call customer service. Which I don't do, because it doesn't say that I can in the guidelines.

Have you checked to see if you need to update the app?
Peg,
yep, deleted, updated and reinstalled. Even though it's supposed to automatically update.

Can you try ordering from a computer? I always use mine and do up to three a day.
Nope olympia, my desktop had a nervous breakdown, it just takes up space on my desk now. I have a tablet and a cell phone I do almost everything on. I could use the browser to go into Kroger's website. I'll have to look at the guidelines and see if that's allowed.
I can do multiple on the desktop or the phone. I just choose a new location and start a new order. I've never had a problem.
I have no idea if more than one msc is involved with Kroger stores but I had a long discussion this morning with the msc that recently combined with another msc to form a new group. I have never done these shops but she told me that in order to do a pick up shop you have to have an equal or greater non pick up shops assigned to you. So in effect from what she told me the pick up shops are prizes for those who do instore shops for them. And the clock resets monthly so in order to be able to be assigned lets say 2 pickup shops you have to have taken a minimum of 2 non pick up shops during this rotation. .
Oh my, I did 6 in stores last month as there were no pick ups- so they do not count? I have an equal number of Kroger in store and pick ups this month but also have 3 competitors which have no in store component. And the Kroger stores that had in stores were either too far from my home or in areas I do not want to go to for my safety. I wish there was some official email to everyone as my scheduler never shared any of these details with me.

I agree. I guess I don't have the relationship with my scheduler to get all the information?

It gives the option on the form for web or app so I think you should be fine with the website.

I have the info I wrote above only because the website showed no jobs at all for me other than one coffee shop at the airport. There were at least a hundred within 15 miles of me. Amy, the scheduler called to help me find the jobs and I told her I was interested in the pick up shops (none were near me) so she explained the situation. I had not yet read guidelines at that point but I did suggest to her the rules for pick up shops should be in the guidelines.

I tried again, and it worked. I don’t why it would last month or the month before that? I will try again next Friday and see how it goes.
The issue of people taking only pickup shops and policy that one should try to have an equal split was included in an email earlier this year. If you are a new shopper you probably didn't see it. They also want you to spread out your shops at any one store over the year.

In April I couldn't select most of my normal in store shops despite being a 5-star shopper. I was traveling as was the regular scheduler so I didn't email the backup. I didn't have issues this past cycle. I'm not sure if there was a glitch with April shops but it didn't matter much so I didn't look into it.

The June Kroger shops posted today, in my area at least.
Im in California. They are posted. Got mine.
I have had up to 4 pick up Shop scheduled. I would recommend using a different credit card for them. I used to be told you cannot have two pickups scheduled till you pickup the 1st one. But that's not been an issue when I rotate different payment card. Good Luck
