How Do You Allow Substitutions on a Kroger Pick Up Shop at Walmart?

I'm using Walmart's website to place my order and can't find where to allow substitutions. TIA

I don't know if there is a way to allow substitutions on their website. But I do know that they will substitute things that they are out of stock on supposedly, and it will be a completely inappropriate item that doesn't even come close to what you order. Every single time.
Nevermind. Something popped up when I placed my order. It wouldn't let me pick specific items as substitutions, though.

Ah! Now, hours after I placed my online order, I can select limited, specific items in case my ordered items are unavailable.
Walmart sucks.. I don't do the Walmart competitor shops anymore. Someone at a local store tried to take $200 out of my checking account through the Walmart app. It's an account that I only keep what I need to do the shops in, and it was the day after my shop, so it was declined by my bank. But I had to get a new debit card for that account because Walmart wouldn't let me remove my card from the their system. I won't even use a card inside their stores now. Actually I haven't set foot inside a Walmart since then.
I did my first one and they filled the order correctly. But I brought my own bags to recycle and remove a 10 cent bag fee. Walmart double-billed me. It took a while to go through the 1800 Walmart menus but eventually I got to someone who was able to remove one of the charges.. Of course they removed the one which was correct and left the second higher charge. Whatever. At least they fulfilled an item that no other vendor every carries.

I had a competitor shop come under both 8 items and $25. The instructions stated it was ok under $25, but nothing about under 8 items. I uploaded my original order and receipt. Wrote a brief explanation in the spot after the upload for the receipt. It was accepted.

I've been ordering a few extra items and going over $25 just to avoid any issues.

I usually order a few low cost items to ensure the 8 item minimum. What is annoying is when your "big ticket" item isn't actually in stock. And that you think you are ordering 1lb and it winds up being 1 piece, so that $2.50 produce item comes in at 40 cents.

The shop was approved, but obviously I did not get the maximum reimbursement. So it goes.
