I've never received email notification for when these Kroger shops are released. Weeks later I receive emails from the scheduler, offering the one or two non bonused $9 SCRAPS that the other shoppers didn't pickup. Within the last 6 months, I've managed to get a few (within 20 mi radius) thanks to whomever posts here that they've been released.

Checking job boards regularly is part of the job.

LOL. I regularly check the MSC "job" board and this forum. Time to check the SPAM folder or contact the MSC and scheduler.
The MSC doesn't notify anyone when they post the jobs. They send out an email the next morning telling folks what is currently available. When the Kroger shops are posted if you don't catch them within the hour you're likely to miss out.
The Kroger shops are posted about the same time each month. Once you get a feel for when they're posted you will know to check it then to get the best picks.
Has anyone been advised not to do more than one pickup per day? Scheduler said I should not do more than one per day because I could be outed. I believe their recommendations said no more than 3 per day and the self scheduling sticks to this limit.

Are others only doing one per day? I would find it impossible to do some of the far flung shops if I couldn't do several along the way, otherwise it would not be profitable for gas and efficiency.
I have never done more than one pick up on a day- I will get one scheduled then enter the items I want to buy on the next pick up but always leave 2-3 days between .Only exception is on competitor shops- I will do say a Target and Walmart same day but not Krogers.
Did anyone notice this:
Completing a Store and Pickup shop at the same store on the same date, or those two plus a Fuel shop, are not safe shop combinations for protection of your anonymity as a mystery shopper. This set will be unavailable to self-assign starting in September. We’re working to ensure shopper identities are safe from reveal by store staff and implementing new protections to ensure you can keep shopping. Thank you for your patience with this effort, and please contact your scheduler if traveling out of area to complete shops

Where did you see this note? That's too bad since it makes the shops less efficient to do. I guess it does make it obvious if the same pickup person sees you shopping too. That's happened to me before.

I tried to sign up for a shop that's farther away from me and couldn't do self assign. I've probably only shopped it once this past year so couldn't be a max issue. Has this happened to anyone else?
It’s on the job listing.

Another question for the crowd - does anyone have any idea if one Kroger can see your orders with other Krogers? If I’m picking up with A, B, and C, will A know I have two other pickups let alone where and when?
Olympia, I don't think so. I think only the orders for that store are transmitted to each store. But I could be wrong.
Hi Olympia - I had not noticed this. I see at the end it says to contact scheduler if traveling out of area. I travel out of area every month. (Up to 50 miles one way)

On my out of town Kroger shops; I've done the in store, pick up and fuel at the same time but I have not done more than one Kroger pick up in a day, When there available I do a competitor pick up and Kroger the same day.

I have been worried I could be outed doing a pick up and in store. I ran into one of the delivery clerks while in the store; I said "oh hello again, I realized I better use the restroom, its a long drive". I'm not sure but I believe the pick up clerk can see my address in the computer; (they see my name so I assume my address is there too). I don't hide that I don't live in the community I've told the clerk I find it very convenient to order my groceries and pick them up on my way home from my "monthly business trip" to the area.

Olympia, maybe you can copy paste these instructions? I can't find it on the app.. do I have to log into the website to find it? Ok, logged into the website and I still can't find anything about not being able to do all 3 shops in the same day. Someone show me where it is please. It really doesn't make sense to me that they would impose those kind of limits.

I've been spotted by the picker inside the store after a pickup at two different locations. Both times I said my wife texted me with something she forgot to order. One of them laughed and said "that happens more than you would guess!"
Last week I was doing a combo and the pickup person was somebody I'd never seen before and I told them right up front that I just got a text and now I have to go in the store anyway. She thought it was hilarious and even waved when she spotted me inside. (I made sure not to schedule a same day combo in there this next round). ????

This was from the scheduler. It is not in the instructions. That’s why I asked if anyone had been told the same by the scheduler.

The last limitation email I got was from last fall (?) about the 1:1 ratio that many of us got.

I thought the warning was odd because I thought many of us did more than one pickup a day.

Taking away in store and pickup at the same location next month will definitely hurt. These changes will make it much less efficient.

The scheduler hasn't said anything to me. But I've made it clear to her that I do one of each shop at each location, pick up, fuel, and inside (only full serve). I do it once per location in each round. One day I do 2 stores and the following week I do three stores. I do it this way to make sure I can shop every round without coming up against rotation rules and so that I don't have to go back into a Kroger in between rounds. I don't try to "game" the system or take advantage. Any other groceries I need in between I buy at a farmers market or I send my son to Publix.
Can anyone give a hint as to what MSC these are on?

Look through some recent threads on the mystery shopping company discussion page for ideas.
I go in the store many times after Ive done a pickup in "real life". I may use the ATM or want to check the clearance meat bin. I dont think the workers care as much as we think they do.
I did not notice that language that Olympia posted because you don't see it until you open the Guidelines. Of course when you are rushing trying to get your instore and pickup at the same place and time, you don't look at the guidelines before you self assign.

I had three pickup shops removed this month, they removed the ones that were on the same day and same store! And I guess I am on probation because I wasn't one to one this month. In the past I was pretty good about it as it was easier to do the same store for each on the same day.

Luckily I had a few dates with three shops on that date near each other so my remaining two pickup and two instore are still near each other on the same day.

It would have been nice if they had sent out an email warning us, did anyone see one?

That was the rumor a few months ago. Folks were taking advantage and not doing the in-store shops. I don't understand why this drastic change is necessary. None of the stores I shop think that I might be their shopper. And I don't see why stepping into the store to pick up a few extra things after you pick up your order is a big deal. I always forget to get something, and I always check the marked down produce, especially the salad kits and apples or sweet potatoes for the chickens.

The one shop that I find unnatural, and doing all three shops at the same location on the same day, is going to the fuel station. But but yesterday when I was out doing my grocery shops I realized that I needed ice very badly because it was very hot so I bought ice at the fuel station after I was done shopping, which made it make more sense.

The thing is - if/when you are new, how would you know you were "taking advantage" of the pickup shops? I find it so strange that there are these unwritten rules with these shops. I feel they ought to state what the requirements are plainly so that people know the expectations. If anywhere in any guidlelines it stated that "pickup shops must not exceed in store shops" then shoppers would know the expectation.

The expectations will be shifting again in September. Previously, it had been encouraged to do more than one shop per location (fuel and in store recommended on the same date) and it seems in September that one will no longer be able to do more than one shop per location, per day.
Deleted because I guess I should not complain!

Anyone else really have a rude scheduler? I emailed three times asking for a shop to get rescheduled after I screwed up rescheduling it in the app. She never responded and so I got a withdrawal… and she won’t take the withdrawal off my account!!! I wish there was someone I could appeal this to.

The old company was so great. The schedulers were friendly and even remembered to ask about my kids.

I have a great scheduler. I'm sorry to hear you have problems with yours.
I believe we are all talking about the same scheduler. And she is not rude. And when she went on vacation and somebody else was doing her scheduling for her that person wasn't rude either.

I've had to reschedule a few shops. I send an email and I tell her why I didn't make it, or why I can't make it, and I offer her other dates that I can do the jobs, and tell her that it's entirely up to her and to give me whatever dates are available, if there are any available, and I'll work around whatever she gives me.

And at least so far, she has rescheduled me for dates that I have suggested. And I really try hard not to ask her for anything that I don't absolutely have to ask for.
Amy Snyder is my Kroger scheduler. She has always been responsive, professional, and helpful to me. I wish more schedulers were like her. I, too, try not to take up her time unnecessarily.
I THINK I recall a query concerning the maximum number of Kroger shops per month; for August, eight fit my criteria and were scheduled. After completing four, a ninth returned to the board, I applied as was awarded the job. Either there is not a cap at eight or my having completed four was a factor.

Eight is the cap for pick up shops. One can go crazy with in store shops. For each location there is a limit of 15 in store per location per year. If I understood the semi cryptic rules properly.
