Does anyone get worried about these car shops?

I recently had a car shop gone bad. The usual, I spent EXTRA LONG to write up a bad report verses a good report. But, once they receive this and let the sales crew know - well, they have my name and address and all contact information on file! Even if the report has removed my info, the crew will easily be able to identify me and know all my information including where I live. It makes me a little nervous. Anyone else?

Never, ever had any such problems after turning in a negative car report, or any other where they had my name and contact info. And I have been doing this since 2003.

I had a stellar sales associate and my report reflected this. A month later, he friended me on Facebook, added me on LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. Some of them I never heard of. From that point on, I started using an alias.

How do you use an alias when they take a copy of your license for the test drive?
Actually I had a salesperson from car shop for intellishop contact me today about my report, asking if I would change my score. I explained I don’t score. I provide info and the company does that. He did a great job, so not sure what the problem is, but yes it did freak me out.
They don't look that closely.

I had a salesman contact me after receiving the report. He had read the report in entirety and he questioned me about it. I've stopped doing any that require personal info being given out. Never again.

I’m freaked out too. My husband said unless I can use an alias, I should not ever do these again. I had no idea our personal details would be shared with the salesperson. If it was a bad report, no telling what a crazy person would do.
That could be a scary concerning situation, for sure. For those that have been contacted by employees, did you report it back to the MSC involved? If so, how did they respond?
I let the MSC know and they took no action. I finally called the SA and told him that his actions were inappropriate as I have to be objective.

I have done around 100 car shops and never had this happen. Hopefully, these are the rarer situations. Maybe don't do the ones closest to your home where there is more of a chance you could see these people?
I had this happen some years ago. The salesperson contacted me because there were some negative issues reported. He was one of these very high pressure people. I reached out to the MSP and he didn't contact me again. I don't know if it was due to the MSP stepping in or if he stopped on his own. I have never done another car shop and won't where I have to give my actual information.
This is total BS. If you're going to do the shop then the MSC owes it to you to redact your personal/contact info before they forward the report to the client, especially if they are going to give a copy of the report to the salesperson.
