GIGWALK what happened

Gigwalk never has anything in my area except for the review our app "job" that's been mentioned before. Today they have a gig for a steak restaurant where you interview someone exiting from having dinner.

You're basing this on what? Online reviews? I agree with the OP that they rarely have much going on but I've done about a dozen jobs for them over the last few years and have always gotten paid.
Based on 100s who downloaded the app. Are you saying they were all fake reviews?

@Tonytj It would help if you offer reasons for saying it is a scam company. Perhaps we have different definitions for scam. Can you expand on what you mean? Are you going off of personal experience or exclusively from what people said online.

Speaking of reviews, there was a time where people said it was a great app and they had lots of jobs. I was trying to figure out how do you go from having lots or a decent number to having very few or infrequent listing of jobs. In the last year I've seen "gigs" for one of the largest retailers and a couple of companies involved with things inside your body.

One of the single star reviews was from a person who had a problem creating an account. Something like that doesn't count in my book since they didn't get to actually use the app. That's like someone reviewing a dessert or pastry shop and giving them one star only because they had run out of desserts that day.

Another person claimed that the Gigwalk kept playing games by going back to your job over and over to ask for more details and giving you a short window to reply.

I am sure most of us have experienced a returned report and although frustrating, few of us would claim that the MSC was a scam. If it kept going back asking for other info that wasn't on the survey or in the guidelines, then sure it is problematic.
This was a good app last summer. I think I racked up a few hundreds from the snacks assignments. But I've also done the grocery store ones and those were a nightmare that ended up being denied for stupid reasons.

Def not a scam company, just limited to what they have sometimes. I have done quite a few shops for them and have always been paid. You have to follow the directions. I find that most people just do not take the time to read. I am also guilty of that and have made many mistakes on shops. Luckily, I have always been able to fix it or work it out with the MSC. Gigwalk is no different. Just did a job for them for $25. Was easy enough but unfortunately, there are not enough of those jobs at all.
