Gas Station Audit moving over to Presto

It looks like they are testing out shifting the RW and B stations over to Presto. I just looked and its the normal questions just without ALL the pump photos. Looks like a trial month since they are also on Ipsos page as usual just at the reduced rate.

I tried one out today and it is vastly less complicated than the full one. It took me abour 1/3 the amount of time as the full audit and I still did the same thorough job. I guess I never realized how much time it takes to photograph and upload all of those pumps.
YAY! Self-assign with NO SCHEDULER INTERFACE!

I love this; no waiting around for emails, just click and GO!
I certified for them. I presume they're running a PILOT program on Presto alongside with the regular quarterly audits. I seem to remember that if you have both shops assigned for the same location, that you cannot do both on the same day.

But the $3 pay cut?

Hasn't this already been the case on Sassie?
Pro tip: just tell them you are going to take the counter photo. If they stay, great. If they move away, they don't want to be in the pic. No convo needed.
I give the option of counter or shirt. A surprising number LIKE having their photo taken.

Well, I gave it a try and must say I am impressed with the ease of uploading with Presto! Takes a lot less clicks to attach the picture, uploads way faster, you can immediatly proceed the next question. Much better! But we'll pay for the convienience in reduced fees.
I noticed this as well. If only we could double dip and knock out both audits! I seem to remember doing this with the non revealed and revealed gas audits that were on both platforms. I plan on knocking a few out on Presto then jumping on them when the bonuses roll around on the other job board.
Has anyone had their shop approved yet?

ETA: I've had two approved as of today, 8/11. So it took 3 days for editing those.

How long did it take to do one? I’ve done many audits in the last, but not this one, thanks!
I did one today in less than 20 minutes.. actually I did two but Presto's timer is on a different time zone than mine and it kicked me out an hour early.

I know I said I wasn't going to do any until the price increased, I got stuck in the big city and the shop that I was going to do I wasn't able to do because the restaurant had a power outage and a fire. Not real sure which order they occurred in.

I also did a few of these.
They seem straightforward enough. For me, they seem a bit quicker to do.
However, even though only one photo of a pump is required (the one that gas was purchased), the shopper must still examine every pump for problems. If a problem is found, a photo is needed to be reported. The same for any with the Synergy elements (Waves and Koalas). If a problem is found, a photo is needed.
So, the reduced pay is fine for a perfect shop, but otherwise, the MSC is getting by "on the cheap".
The report is easier and more accepting of photos (1 step).
After finishing the report or brief or whatever they refer to it as, I found out they were "Submitted" via an Email that landed in my "Junk" folder.
A few days later I learned that the "Submitted" reports were "Accepted" via an Email that also landed in my "Junk" folder. The Email also informed me that "You'll receive payment 1-3 business days from now - when payment has been issued, you'll see it in your shop log".
As for pay, I await.

Biggest problem I see with this is remote locations, which tend to be the only ones I do for this brand. Cell coverage can be spotty out in the boonies, and nothing frustrates me more than obstacles getting in the way of uploading reports from my phone.

Curious... what's the pump photo requirement for the mobile version?

Have synthesizers, will travel...
This is substantially easier overall. I have a lot of gas stations under my belt so can evaluate very quickly. I tried 4 and they were all done in under 15 minutes. I really like the Presto interface as it is much more stable and responsive. Pay is still low if you have any real travel time between locations, but on the idea that you can just pick up something you are driving by, I'll keep some authorization letters in the car.
There is one thing that concerns me about App shops. If the picture I take in the app has a problem, out of focus, too dark etc., I don't have a backup to send if asked. How do you deal with that?
I often take a duplicate picture wth the camera app. Always if I'm a long way from home. My rule has always been is better to have too many pictures.
On the idea of doing both shops at the location. I remember a warning that you could only do one or the other for the rotation. Now I don't see that anymore.

I take the photos with my regular camera and upload the photos to the report via the gallery. There's an option on the report to upload "existing." That's what you check and go to your gallery. That way they are still there in your camera roll if I need more photos upon their request.

I use the app to take the receipt pics, but I upload the other pics from my gallery. I prefer to take more pics than one.

It may be quicker to take a pic directly from Presto, but if that is your only picture and it isn't clear, my guess is they will decline or give you 24 hours to get a better pic. Who wants to drive out again for $12? I only did a couple and they took me a while. I suppose taking extra pics was a factor, but I also had 20 fuel pump station shops.

YMMV, but in my opinion the only blue pins that are worse are the fast food kiosk drink menu and the pot audits.
I take all of the pictures on my tablet. A minimum of two of each type of picture, some pictures I take three or more of just in case somebody says something. The only picture I take one of is the picture of my traffic vest, that they don't want anymore.. I still take the picture.

After doing three today and one of the regular ones for Sassie, I've concluded that the Presto ones are so much less time consuming. No selfie photo or vest needed, no photo of every pump and it's completed on site. No report to do later. I know some of you do the Sassie report on site, but I always download the photos to my computer and do them at home. I'm all for the Prestos. I had one Presto come back for more info and I had the picture they needed on my phone so I just sent it and it was approved pronto. Too bad the pay is less, but for me they go so much quicker that I would do more of them per day. Just my 2cents

@msjudi You do need a vest for this shop.

Maybe it was a typo and you meant "No selfie photo OF vest needed,"

No selfie photo required in the Presto ones I've done.
