Sonic Fee reduced to $9.00.

Their burgers are terrible. They don't taste like beef. I don't think there sides are mush better. The cherry limeade and Red Bull slushies are great though.
Careful - guidelines prohibit slushes as the drink!

do they have rotations for the shops above?

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009

Yes, right now 30 days but as the month progresses, rotation becomes less days.

Sonic burgers imo are the worst of the fast food chains. I guess their tots and hotdogs save them, but as for me only the milkshakes get me in there once or twice a year.

As for the new pay, they got a lot of people who at first glance may have thought they raised the pay…..but they think they’re clever and they are, because people will settle for it.

Last month the LTO was a small milkshake and these little chicken ravioli looking bites. They had the small milkshake for $1.99 so I went to my local Sonic and had one. Within an hour I was throwing up. I thought that was a fluke. Then later on in the month I had the limited time offer shop and I had the small milkshake and the little ravioli thingies and same thing within an hour I was throwing up. I think they must put something in their milkshakes that I am sensitive to. I'm not having another Sonic milkshake ever.
So they increase the reimbursement amount, but you can only order the approved combos with no other add-ons allowed. Would be nice if I could add on a kids meal when my kids come but I have to make it weird and order that separately.
These are not the same Sonic shops. You have to order a LTO item. Thats why the reimbursement $ went up. Not sure why the fee went down.

You might do the kids meal first and then decide that you were going to eat. At the point you look like a parent feeding the kid and then your plans changed.
I have 2 months since did last one and all shops in my area blocked for me, however the shop in Reading ,PA is available for self assign

I don’t have dates available on any around me, which is weird because I haven't been to any of those in at least a year. Thanks for the heads up on the LTO, Katierlou. I had only one in my life and didn't know it till I started the report. Thankfully I was still in the stall and just started over. Cost me a meal's price. Ugh.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered, opened the report to start inputting and it was a LTO not tbe regular shop. I went back to the job board and a regular shop was also listed so I grabbed that. I wrote thru the sassie system about the mistake and let it drop off. Having a regular Sonic isn't always going to be available. At least now it is easier to tell the LTO since they are $10 and the regular Sonic is $9.

This is how I do it now. It just wastes time and if I were to order a cheap combo and the kids meal I can use up all of the reimbursement.
Ses, the LTO shops came and went quickly here. And I have seen the commercials for that sandwich, it almost looks good. Might even be delicious, but I really can't trust Sonic, I know it'll make me ill. Or I probably would have grabbed one..
I've only seen commercials lately for the chicken ravioli things. Looks nasty. Like a pocket of puke.
Heads up, the 6-in chili cheese dog is no longer an option. Only the footlong and All American
Thanks ses,

The chilli dog is one of my go-to items because they don't make me feel as ill as the sandwiches sometimes do.

HMMM I wonder if you could order the All Amercian Dog and add chili. It appears you can add chili.
Girly,

I'm a "big" girl, I can put away a foot long.. and I probably will now that we can't have regular chilli dogs. Sometimes I get the bacon cheeseburger toaster and take off the buns and the bbq sauce that causes my intestinal distress.. it's a pretty ok lunch that way.
They're starting to bonus-up in my area. The fee cut may have rubbed some shoppers the wrong way.
The LTO has a $10 fee with $10 reimbursement in my areas, and the regular job has gone down to $9 with $12 reimbursed.

It’s not listed as an option on the guidelines but it is available to select in the report. I ordered one and it was approved and paid.

I was just coming to say the same thing. It is still in the dropdown.

Now Panda Express also dropped their job fee on certain shops to $7.50. Wtf

The $7.50 fee for the drive-thru or order online it's been like that for a couple months.
Here’s what you do. Get a route 44 drink and a large tots with that #7. In my area, it comes up to about $11.90. In my area, they “always” ask if I want to upsize my meal. Take advantage of that now. I have one of those big thermos to pour the drinks in, an igloo cooler to put the food in, and a big black trash bag for the trash. I’m not leaving any money on the table. If they’re taking away reimbursement, I will get as much as I can.

I will not try to get as much fat and blood pressure as I can... but to each their own. I do accept the drink upgrade for my diet soda if they offer it.

I have not done one in several months but I thought it had to be a medium combo and we could not accept the large? Just see if they offer it?

I asked about this when it first changed and was told by the great and powerful mysteryshopping@treatyoulikecrapMSC.com, "The only approved items are those in the guidelines. The project manager has been contacted about the form." The footlong is too hard to photograph (I always get a 9), and I HATE the All American, but I've been too afraid to get my good old standby chili cheese dog for fear it would be rejected. I may have to go for it next time.

By the way, if anybody's wondered...there has to be X number of days between visits at each location regardless of the shopper, so if you see one on the board that's not available and you know it's been longer than 30 days since you've visited, that's why. (It's also why it's so fussy to move your shop date.) Rotations for Sonic are kind of stupid really....I could go to the one here every day, and they wouldn't think anything of it. (I almost do - gotta feed the Diet Coke addiction.)

The list of food that you can order at Sonic has changed, not for the better. My go to sandwich, the bacon cheeseburger toaster, is no longer on the list. Since they reduced the payment, and increased the reimbursement, I have not done a Sonic shop with less than $4 bonus. And it seems that I now have to order a double cheeseburger or a footlong Coney. I guess the chickens won't mind the cheeseburgers. I know you're allowed to make changes to the sandwiches now, which we couldn't do with the previous mystery shopping company, but I still feel guilty asking them to not put mayonnaise on my sandwiches.. so I try to buy sandwiches the naturally don't come with mayonnaise, which is not the cheeseburger.

Why would you feel guilty? -lol- I think Sonic almost expects you to ask for customizations on food and drink items, and the Eyeball's guidelines allow it. When I order a burger, it's cheese and mayo only, none of those pesky vegetables.
