Outback shop

I just got an Outback shop. Directions say you MUST order drinks, appetizer and entrees and you MAY order dessert. There is a place on the report for a photo of the dessert so I assume they prefer you order it. Has anyone not ordered the dessert and gotten paid? I am old LOL so I am an AARP member- has anyone used AARP discount on the shop? If I can use it and say the bill is 65 and then reduced by 6.50 due to the discount- do I tip on the lower amount or the full 65? I usually do NOT tip base don the amount with tax- I just do 15% on the actual bill- do you think that will work? Any advice appreciated! Happy to have gotten this shop hoping to do it 100% correctly!

My shop directions are posted below- seems the only 3 things required are the drinks, appetizers the MUST regardless if suggested or not and the entrees-
As for the dessert- give the server time to suggest but you can order one even if not suggested- so even if they do not suggest you can still order and have it reimbursed is what I assume-
It seems some shoppers who posted their guidelines have different directions. In the past servers always push the Bloomin Onion so probably will do on this shop.
As there is a place for 4 photos in the report, I assume the MSC would like to see photos of each item

For this shop you MUST order two beverages, either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.
You MUST order ONE appetizer but only after giving your server time to suggest one. If your server does
not suggest an appetizer, you may still order one of your choosing. The appetizer must come off the appetizer
menu. Salads are not considered an appetizer.
For your entrées, you MUST order at least ONE steak. You may order two but at least one of the entrées is
required to be a steak. Prime rib sandwiches are not considered a steak entrée.
You may order ONE dessert but only after giving your server time to suggest one. If your server does not
suggest a dessert, you may still order one of your choosing.
**Reimbursement is only up to $75.

I just finished my first one. I had to purchase an entrée, drinks, and an appetizer. I took pictures of the food, exterior, and drinks. I do not recall seeing any place to upload the drink picture, though. On the handheld the waitress is using we paid on, I didn't see an option of 15% tip. I saw 18% and above. We ordered two drinks, two entrées, and an appetizer with an 18% tip and our bill was under 60 bucks. We went online before going and looked at the prices and had a game plan before arriving.

Your receipt will show tip calculations based on the gross amount ( also shown). So, tip BEFORE the AARP discount.
If you order alcohol, a picture is required and there was a spot for it on the reports I did. . I always tip 20% or more which is really the minimum expected around here. You should tip pre-discount.

I did an Outback shop. The server brought the ticket without ever asking about dessert, so we didn't order dessert. The shop was accepted just fine.
