Has anyone done "missions" through the Mobee app recently?

Last time I used this app was in 2022. Their missions were too many pics for the pay, and in some cases, they were very picky and rejected things incorrrectly that I appealed (and won).
I am seeing more open missions by me at a more fair pay, and wouldn't mind doing just some quick things this month, but I figured I would ask here. Has anyone been doing their missions lately and if they seem like they've gotten better?

I've done a few here and there. I have a fair amount that get rejected. Eg there was one small Cheetos chips bag barely visible at the check stand that I missed checking off. I don't usually do them unless I'm in the store already.
I won't do the ones near the registers with the candy. Those are a mess. In two plus years I have made it to almost $100. It's not a real source of money, but hey, I'll take $100 towards a hotel.
I've been doing them for a year. I'm presuming this is with the GoSpotCheck app. The app works fine. The pay is more in line with the work. I did resets on one client that I would not touch because it did not pay for the time. Many of the locations are in stores that I can do another shop when I'm done. The most time consuming task is getting someone to help you if the store is busy.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

This is a totally different app - they are jobs you grab on the fly. It has some GPS in it that won't even let you start the job unless you are in the correct range of the store. In my area, I see them at the dollar store chains, grocery and drug stores, and occasionally some gas stations. It has you take pics of a specific section - no organizing or merchandising the items.

do you mind sharing the name of the app?

It's Mobee, it's an orange icon.
I did one two weeks ago. It was rejected because the picture was not close enough. It was impossible to take a closer picture because a display was in the way. The photo clearly showed the display blocking the view. I didn't have the energy to appeal it.
Yes. Within the last four months I had two or three rejected. I appealed each one. Months later I received a canned response saying they're going to reverse the decision. I received points for two of the rejected tasks. I've been using the app occasionally since 2018 and never had a rejection until recently. I'm hesitant on doing more but am close to 2000 points so they've got me. I agree with another poster, the Minty cash register area task is ridiculous. Too many photo's required, too many questions, too time consuming, too much. I cut my losses and abandoned it mid way. I also abandoned another Halloween candy task after noticing the store didn't have the stated seasonal Halloween candy aisle described within the task. The store had pallet's or cardboard displays within the perimeter main aisles. My pics wouldn't have exactly matched their example photos so I wasn't going to waste any more of my time. I wouldn't recommend the app. I'll likely request that they close my account before I delete it.
I am really beginning to dislike this one. I did a couple quick and easy, but the cash register and the candy shops are ridiculous. You can only take the photos in the app, not quickly otherwise and then add later. I was in the store a LONG time in the candy aisle and finally just gave up There is no way to tell even how close you are to finishing the "mission" and the pay is LOW . Plus instructions not super clear, one rejected already as my interpretation of the question was different than theirs. Waste of time.
Any tips for doing the candy coated missions in Dollar general? These are the one that want you to take pictures and answer questions about peg candy, movie theater boxes and lay down bags
MrEd, sounds like they are still doing their old tricks. Thanks for the update, I'll continue to avoid them lol
My tip is to skip it all together. lol. That's the one that I was in the store for a very long time, taking a lot of pictures, many questions about location confusing to me. Adjacent? Whats that mean, next to? on the other side of aisle? the next aisle over?
Mobee used to be so much better. I haven't done any in quite a long time. So much work for too little reward.

Don't waste your time on the candy coated missions in DG. I tried one and it was ridiculous. The instructions were so confusing and they wanted endless photos. And, of course, they rejected it for the cherry on top. No wonder there's like 20 of those near me. But I've done pretty well with other missions. I've done a bunch lately with few rejections.
So are ANY of them worthwhile? I see a ton of them near me available at the same places I already shop (not necessarily a good sign, like those debit research shops)....so no candy and no register - what about the gas stations? any other stores or missions worth while? I am afraid to ask what the equivalent of a 100 points might be? $1?

There's a ton of the dollar stores in my area. I haven't tried the gas stations bc I shop those for another company. I have done a "honey" mission at a grocery store and it wasn't that bad but definitely not something you can do covertly.
And yes, 100 pts is $1. They do have a bonus program, if you complete 15 at a certain type of store, you get a 750 bonus. They can add up nicely but I think you can only cash out to a gift card. I haven't done enough recently to cash out.
I started to do a mission at a big box store by me the other day - it was taking pics of laptops and promo cards - directions were unclear and they wanted you to somehow predict how many pics you would have to take. I started the mission and then aborted - it was a ridiculous amount of pics (probably over 30) and unclear instructions - it was bound to get rejected.

Thank you....I like to, if possible, estimate how much time is required for any of these. Appreciate the feedback
I did that tedious laptop shop and then the screen would not move to the last question. I couldn't do anything about it. It was a glitch on their end. They admitted this and said it was on their end but there was nothing they could do. I took so many pictures and wasted so much time. They said to wait an hour and I could try it again.
I think the Minty Marvel ones are worthwhile. Especially the ones at a gas station. They can be done quickly. The ones at Walmart or grocery stores can take a while longer but still not bad. And the instructions are pretty clear and the photos needed aren't ridiculous. What's best is that I haven't had any of those rejected yet. They're close to $10 a pop so if you can do like 5 of them in the same town it's not bad.
