BONUSED USPS Shops????

Hello and good afternoon.

I was curious...I just started doing the USPS regular box shops last year. I’ve done very well on my drives out to the boonies and adding a few of these along the way. Well, I’m noticing that this months are not being bonused; does anyone know if that is a thing of the past or if this is just what they do during the first quarter of a project historically???

They always start low and slowly go up the closer they get to the project deadline.

October is the begining of the quarter. Don't expect bonuses until closer to the end of the quarter.

USPS shops are quarterly. You probably won't see any pay increases the first month.

USPS shoppers alert. I just saw on Amazon padded mailers 6x10 inches black friday deal 50 of them for $6.15

I prefer to use a small box and get reimbursed for the individual purchase of each one that I do with each shop. Plus it’s easier to send gifts to my grandson and daughter that way too.

They are $15, $18 and $20 in my location.

Has anyone had any issues getting shipping boxes reimbursed for regular box? Not sure if doing something wrong. I’m picking up my first couple in probably over a year. My daughter does them all the time and mentioned that she hasn’t been reimbursed in a while and no response from scheduler. Any tips appreciated. Thanks

I did two last week and was reimbursed for my boxes. I do know if you have more than one box on a receipt, you have to write each shop number on the receipt. Also, to keep things simple and to ensure I get my tax back, I purchase the boxes separately from anything else I might buy.

There's an issue with new editors not correctly approving these shops to include the box reimbursement. I had to work with the USPS Project Manager (initials P.B.) to get this corrected - find her contact info on Shopmetrics. There generally aren't schedulers on these projects. What I did in the meantime as PB was having all my shops audited to fix this, was to include in the Shoppers Comment box something like "Editor, please note there is a $1.60 Box Reimbursement on this project. The receipt is attached. Please confirm this is is added to the total reimbursement amount before finalizing the shop." Or something like that.

Wow, good info @Cassiespark. I guess I've lucked up and not had one of those editors. I will be keeping my eyes open, though I do not expect to do any more USPS shops until next quarter -- unless some crazy bonsues pop up.
