Panda Express

Is Panda Express still shopped? I have not seen any posting about them since July or August I believe.

I know the last time they were posted you could either get a bowl or plate but you can not get a drink.

They dropped the payment for the Online and Drive Thru shops so I don't do them anymore until they are bonused more than double the base pay. I usually get to do one or two each round.
The last time I did one was several months ago before they dropped the payment. Guess I am missing them

It seems like that the MSC is dropping the pay all all shops but yet prices keep going up.
I see them listed in my area but I'm not eligible yet since I did one in the middle of October.

A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.
We have very few drive thru s in my area unless it is an old restaurant when real estate was still available. Panda has not been around so to get a drive thru they would have to wait for a Mc D or Burger Kings etc to move out.
The regular shops near me get taken within seconds. I finally snatched one last month and not near by for me. But unfortunately my fave the eggplant and tofu dish is not allowed so I was disappointed.

If it is a bowl or a plate, how come it is not allowed? Unless it's a Premium item and those are not allowed any more
When I did my shop in October there was a list of approved entrees. It did not include the new shrimp one or the tofu eggplant. I asked my scheduler and was told the shop would be rejected if I ordered something not on the list. I specifically asked if I could order the eggplant dish.

If you're getting paid $7.50 for a drive-thru shop or an online order shop, the payment has been reduced.
Booooo! The eggplant & tofu entree is my favorite. Yet another reason for me to pass on these shops unless the bonus is good enough to make up for these annoyances.
The entree I miss is the Black Pepper Chicken. About all I ever get now is Kung Pao Chicken because the chicken isn't breaded and it isn't sweet. Every other entree seems to be sweet and/or the meat is breaded. Even the teriyaki grilled chicken is sweet, I don't know if they brine it in sugar, but it tastes like regurgitated meat to me. I can have small amounts of soy, but not a lot, and tofu is icky anyway.. so that entree was never an option for me.
@Morledzep

Tofu is icky??? All different textures and different ways of cooking tofu???
<<clutching my pearls>> winking smiley

What about the Mushroom Chicken and String Bean Chicken Breast? Are they not on the list?

Yes, sorry I misunderstood. I thought they meant it was dropped completely

I order the new dish once a couple of weeks ago (Chili Shrimp?). They still paid me and never said anything about it.
It's probably been a couple of months since the last time I read the guidelines for Panda Express, because I don't do them very often. But, as far as I know, as long as it's on the menu you can order it, the only current restrictions on what you can order is you can't get an appetizer or a drink unless you pay for it separately out of your own pocket.

They want you to check to see that all of the regular menu items are available on the service tray. But they don't restrict you from ordering anything that's available. Or at least they didn't the last time I read the guidelines in probably September.

I did one yesterday- it's still the same. They don't pay much but it's good food and a 2 minute report.
Always plenty here in UT.

Yesterday I did my first two-fer. Started with an online order pickup at one location. After getting the food photo and popping the container into my cooler (was at the GF's with beer over the weekend) I headed to another location closer to home for a dine-in.

I'm enjoying the Chili Crisp Shrimp, and the fact the updated reimbursement now covers premium items in my area.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
In my area the regular stuff goes over the reimbursement on the plate. But there definitely was a list of acceptable entree items in October here. . And the spicy shrimp dish and tofu dish were not on it. I asked the scheduler and they said no the report would be refused so i did not want to chance it.
In my area the tofu eggplant was deleted from the menu 4 or 5 years ago. I was delightfully surprised to see it back when I looked at the online menu for the location. When I got there the spot with the label for eggplant had some chicken in it. I did not see eggplant at all on the hot table. I asked the cashier and she said they make it up individually to order when someone wants it. I ended up inviting 2 friends. they shared the 2 item dish and I just got the side carton of eggplant and asked them to pay me only the price of the side item I got plus the amt of the 2 item dish over the reimbursement. They were happy to pay only about $7 or 8 total for that. One of them stood on line and ordered my tofu eggplant for me.
Can you sign up two jobs for one Panda Express location on the same day? Like one for online pickup and one dine in.
I did a Panda OLO shop today. Because of the various comments about what you can or can't order, I checked the guidelines. They have been updated to specifically list what entrees and sides you can order so be sure to review the GL's so you don't get your shop rejected.

Look for:
ORDERING REQUIREMENTS

Here are your options: (with a list of choices that does NOT include the newest shrimp item)

They also included "What is not approved - Do not order!"
So how do you handle it if it's not on the approved list AND not on the "do not order" list?

Those 2 lists should cover ALL items, but they do NOT. So how do you proceed?

@sandyf eggplant was not on the approved list and also not on the "do not order" list. My take is, the 'DO NOT ORDER" is what matters more than the "approved" list. I don't think they update the "approved" list often enough with all the new dishes that are coming out.

the do not order list is a list of side things like rice etc., drinks etc. The order guideline list is a list of the entrees you are allowed to order so it is not at all confusing.

You cannot since you will be out of rotation once you sign up for the first.

Thanks! Do you know how often you can sign up for Panda Express? Once a month?
