Instant approval on 5G ... bizarre

OK, this is weird. I just filed a report for Five Guys. After I submitted, I immediately went to the receipt/status page because I did a photo audit for the MSC yesterday, and some people here have been saying that those have been taking a long time to be approved. I just wanted to see if my photo audit was still in QC. Well, not only was that one in "Approved" status, but the Five Guys report I'd filed not more than 5 seconds earlier was "Approved" as well! How the heck ... some kind of software glitch I guess? Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it has happened to me a few times as well. I think if it's a perfect score with no issues for them to check out, it will automatically approve the report.

I agree with your assessment. I did two last weekend. One perfect one and one where they got the order wrong. Perfect one had a nearly instant approval. The shop with issues took three days to come out of QC.
Thanks. That would explain it. This particular 5G had its act together and I gave it a clean bill of health across the board.
I noticed this starting in August. Perfect scores, instant approved. Less than perfect? Typical process.

I like it, however it gives people incentive to just score perfect across the board to bypass the (minimal) wait time or any questions from the editors or client (who’s going to challenge a perfect score).
I saw this once, too. I do a fairly good number of the 5 Guys shops, and I've only ever had a "perfect" score once in the past six months, but that one was instantly approved. The others, if even one thing is marked less than perfect, can linger for a while in editing. I'm honest, but, I agree it gives people incentive to just mark it perfect.
Tonight I had one that was perfect except I wasn’t offered a shake. Apparently that’s perfect enough as it was instantly approved. I think the shake might be a bonus while the fries and/or drink offer is required.
