Oh no, I am sorry. I got an email yesterday that said they had more shops in my location...maybe the location you did also needed to be shopped, and they can fix it on their end?
I've got one on the books for next week. It didn't look too terrible, but I've only skimmed the guidelines.

They are super quick and easy. A couple sentences of narrative. Basically timing, 4 pictures of the pizza in the box and the receipt.
I've done 4 and all 4 had NO pizza. So just 1 pic needed on site but only $3.00 reimbursement.
That blows. Did you go during lunchtime? That's my plan in the hopes that there'll be pizza made for the employees at lunch.

No, I didn't go at lunchtime. I went mid-afternoon on 2 and later in the day on 2. Three of mine were Self-Serve.

I have 3 next week so I'll try to go earlier, closer to lunch time. Thanks for that idea.

This is the area where the ready-to-eat pizzas are kept, usually a rack with a couple of shelves.

The one in my store is heated at least. Maybe they all aren’t.

I was unlucky and got stuck in rush hour traffic. I arrived at the shop after 6pm and therefore missed the time window. I got my first 1 for the shop. sad smiley In hindsight, I shouldn't have even bothered taking it since it was a low fee.
Ouch. sad smiley I'm sorry.

If it makes you feel any better, I botched something today as well. I'm trying not to focus on the two Andrew Jackson's that basically sprouted wings and flew away.

Thanks, Dr. Doggie. We're not perfect and mistakes happen. At least my average score is still pretty high even with this 1. Hope your two Andrew Jacksons reappear to you as year end bonuses!
I had never noticed the pizza area in the retailer before. I did the shop, easy peasy as there is no employee interaction!
I went at noon as suggested by drdoggie, and of all the times for the person who makes the pizzas to be on lunch break, that was the case with no pizzas in the case. So I did my errands in the shopping center and went back 45 minutes later and got the pizza. You'd think the lunch hour would be mandatory for a pizza maker and TONS of pizzas. Just sayin'
I'm amazed they even have the pizza area in my big box store because the pizza brand has an actual location in the same strip center. It takes all of 90 seconds to walk from one to the other. I liked it better when the big box store had a regular snack bar.

I've paid little attention to it, and now I'm wondering if the pizzas are made on-site or brought over from the pizza store.

The locations inside of stores are separate from your traditional chain location. What I mean is that your local chain is owned by a franchisee (most locations are, though the pizza place does still own and operate a few physical stores themselves.) Instead, the locations inside big box stores are the result of a license by the pizza place. (The license allows them to sell the product, but not duplicate the business as a franchisee does.) The big box store employees the workers for the pizza location inside their store. Their breaks are determined by the big box front end manager. It is possible the manager may have even moved them from the pizza place to run the self check-outs while that person was on break. This is why the guidelines emphasize someone may not be at the counter, since that will be determined by staff levels in the overall store and customer volume at the time you go.

My understanding is that as the big box retailer remodels stores, they are doing away with the grab and go pizza place.

These stores also have well known coffee shops in them under a similar agreement. If a traditional well known coffee store makes my drink wrong and I don't realize it until I'm down the road, I can pop into another traditional location and have it remade for free. I cannot pop into a location inside a big box store and have it remade. Likewise, a traditional store cannot remake a drink from a big box location. Well, technically they are not supposed to do that. I have run into a few people that will.
Are they supposed to have these available until 6 PM? Have one this week and I cannot go at lunch time. THX
@ShopperGirly, I would think they should based on the shop window hours.

However I've done 4 so far with 2 between 2-3PM and 2 between 5-6PM, and none of them had any pizza. Three were Self-Serve with no staff available and 1 was like a mini (pizza store) with 2 workers who told me they were out of pizza. So you take your photo of the empty pizza case and buy something that will be reimbursed up to $3.00. I got their store brand 6 pack of Microwave Kettle Corn for $2.99 and $3.49 as well as some chocolate. I'd suggest having something in mind in case there is no pizza so you don't spend more time than necessary looking for something to buy (unless you happen to want to look around).

I have a location tomorrow that will be after lunch so we'll see... I also have 2 locations on Tuesday that I'll do right at the beginning of the shop window so maybe I'll finally get some pizza.
I already know the one I am doing tonight doesn't have pizza but I already had plans to go for personal shopping there so why not grab it and $10? winking smiley
No Grab and no Go for me. Just got $3 for reimbursement...

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
Empty display for me today...so $3 for my purchase..it was quick

Guess I shouldn't hold out much hope for getting to eat pizza this week.

Those of you to have multiple shops how are you getting these because I can’t get anymore because of the 30 day rotation? There must be a lot of these retail stores in your area.
