BJ's Brewhouse - beep beep restroom?

Hi y'all,

I did my first BJ's Brewhouse yesterday, and I'm puzzled by a question on the survey. It asks if a constant beeping noise was heard in the restroom. Does anybody know what that's from? I definitely heard beeping, but it wasn't constant.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

Maybe it is an automatic sprayer?
Maybe. It sounded kind of like the beeping from a security panel, but that wouldn't make sense for a bathroom.

Perhaps I should email "the Nikster" and ask.

it's a low battery beep from the hidden cameras :-P That was a joke.

I'm guessing they have some technology that lets them know something by the frequency of the beeps. Maybe it's a timer and if it's a constant beep...they need to do something to reset it and "tidy up" the restroom.

Could it be a counter with each time the door is opened or a toilet is flushed and at a certain point...that beeping changes?

I think at @drdoggie00 should ask corporate BJ about the noise. Visit the corporate site and ask why you are hearing beeping in the bathroom and mention hidden cameras and see what kind of response you get.

There are sensors available that detect and report full trash cans, low hand towels or TP. I don't know if they beep alerts. I know the sensors text janitors a message.
In all the times I have been in the BJ's restrooms I have never heard a beeping noise and I have certainly been there when trash cans were full. I am thinking it is a hidden camera and it beeps when a shopper goes into the stall and either starts to read some sheet of paper they have or else starts to dictate to themselves from there.

that was my first thought too.
Ok here's the plan: Next time anyone goes to BJs, say something to the server or manager: "I was just in the restroom and I thought I heard a beeping sound. Can you tell me what that is?"
