Has this been mentioned yet? In the TXRH dine in shop, the guidelines say stay 40 minutes, but the report says stay 60 minutes. Is this a new stay time?

I did a brunch shop at STK a few years ago. I couldn’t believe how expensive that place was, especially since it was so early in the day.

Quick question about TRH. You are supposed to call ahead to shop the hostess. Are they really gonna believe someone is making a lunch call-ahead in the middle of the week? Seems like a dead giveaway that you're a shopper. What has been the experience you've had in this regard?
I still do the occasional one, but it's pretty rare anymore, and I used to shop probably a dozen times a year. I also remember when no one picked up the TRH shops. Now they go really quickly. Haha

Confirmed by scheduler, they changed it back to 40, thank goodness!

I wish TRH would allow more people. I understand they're attempting to limit this to families and not a whole work party or whatever, but the limit is 5. I've got 4 kids and a wife, so that puts us out nowI still do the occasional one, but it's pretty rare anymore, and I used to shop probably a dozen times a year. Also - we just got an Outback by us, guess I'll have to find who shops them! Anyone let me know if they're on Sassie or another platform so I can look around?

TRH changed their guidelines to a maximum of four people several months ago, unless different areas have different rules.

YES, you still have to make the phone call. You don't have to let on that it was you that called though. You aren't required to sign up for the call ahead thing, you just have to make sure the host is doing their job.

A week ago, I used the gift card from my first BJ's shop to pay for the order in my second shop. Feels like a Ponzi scheme.
It's not too terribly bad, but longer and a little more detailed than Roadhouse and BJ's. It does ask for some specific timings (how much time elapsed between when you ordered X and when it was delivered), and it requires photos of all the food and drinks. Order requirements are 2 beverages (water doesn't count), 1 appetizer, and 2 entrees (one must be a steak.) You can use the AARP 10% discount, and if you're in their rewards club, you can use any rewards. Joining the rewards club will get you a free Bloomin' Onion on your next visit. We used that freebie and the AARP discount, and I ordered a less-expensive entree and was able to come in under the reimbursement for the entire bill. I'm not enamored with the food, but my mother loves it, so I do it to take her out to eat.@hokiezz wrote:
Can someone give an overview of the Outback shop? One just popped up in my area - $5 pay, $75 reimbursement. But I can't see the full guidelines unless I sign up for it (pet peeve!).

A different MSC came out with these shops this morning. As best I can tell, they are identical to the original ones.

Two people required, a drink that's not water, and appetizer, two entrees one must be steak. Must tip 20%. Can order other things but Max reimbursement is 75. Requires photo of the exterior and photo of your entrees, appetizer, dessert if ordered and I believe beverage.

I have done several TRH shops and either my wife and I would call and we would put on names on the list. But I know a-lot of people do the call ahead seating and they put their names on the list
I call and put my name on the list. Then before we leave the house, or before we check in, I just cancel on the text message confirmation. I then check in like a regular walk in customer.
