Well, it's good to know that you can go in if you get a text that it's ready early. They are such sticklers to following the instructions to the T, there has been many a time I've sat in my car for four or five minutes after getting the text that it's ready to pick up, worried that if I entered earlier than the quoted time on the email that I'd get dinged or rejected. It would be nice if they added that to the instructions.
think of it this way....you could mark the food down for not being hot and fresh since you had to wait until your "ready" time instead of when you got the text notifying you that the food was ready.

they can't have it both ways. they want to make sure the food is ready within the quoted time. so if it is...then you should be able to pick it up and not let it sit and start to cool off.

It was for an online pick up shop. They marked me for arriving 3 minutes earlier than the quoted ready time.

Next time just give them the time they ask for. Clocks are not perfect.

Marking them down for being 3 minutes early is ridiculous. But then as long as you get paid, that's all that matters.

Online orders –Enter at the exact pick-up time stated in your order confirmation email and proceed to the pickup area. .....so only enter the time from your order confirmation.
I have never done an online pick up order from a restaurant.. I also hate using the D/T. I would rather go inside and place my order at the counter.

Now if the shop requires to use the D/T, I will use the D/T.

I could have started another thread. I'll repeat, I don't know of any other MSC that grades shoppers. Many just send you a message for more information. It seems you get paid no matter what grade you get. That's the most important thing, getting paid.

All of the Sassie companies do grades. There are many.

Not true -- at least not grades that shoppers can see.

Many companies grade but you don't see it. But there are LOTS that you can see. This one is definitely not the only one.

Intellishop, RBG and Confero grade, off the top of my head. BARE which is on a similar platform also grades.
I noticed this instruction as well. The only time I break it is when I receive a text saying that my order is ready. Then I will go in because I don't want my food to get cold. I don't think I've been marked down for doing that.
The instructions pretty clearly say enter exactly at the time on the confirmation email. Honestly, they are cutting you slack if all they do is take off a couple of points. Many clients would outright reject the shop.

By arriving early you are really skewing the metrics. When you ask for your order, if it is not ready, that gives them time to make it before the promised time. Even if you got an email saying it was ready, while this is more of a gray area, it will be fresher than if you got it at the original time.
Which Sassie companies don't have grades?

Yep. Intouch/SeeLevel does as well. Sorry, @johnb974

Yes, you are suppose to go in at the exact time. However, you are usually sent two different arrival times. The instant confirmation will say one time and the emailed receipt another. Pick one of them. I always use the time on the emailed receipt. I disregard any other notifications. I figure I use the time on the receipt because the MSC wants a copy of that receipt. I want to be consistent and not have to explain nuttin.
Yep. That's what I do. Also, I comment on the different ready times when explaining my rating for how easy it is to order online.

I don't know why some shoppers complain about having to show up exactly on time when that requirement is spelled out in the guidelines. If that is what the client wants, that's what the client should get. We shoppers don't have to like it, but we also don't have to do the shops.

I did one a couple of days ago and just re-checked the guidelines. It is clear that you must arrive exactly at the time given in the email confirmation. That email is also what you attach as your receipt, though you have to read the guidelines closely to get that. I was told a few months ago that you can pick up early only if you get a text saying it's ready, and to mention the text as the reason you went early.

I guess I don't really pay that much attention to the grades, as long as I get paid
I've received texts saying the order was ready, only to arrive at the confirmation time and it's NOT ready, they still have to fill it.

Same here. I received a text that my order was ready and when I went in, they hadn't even started it yet. I am not at all impressed with Panda and although their food LOOKS good, I don't think it TASTES good. I rarely do the shops..You all can have 'em.

I have never received a grade for any shop I did for DJC's or Storecheckers UK on SASSIE, for example. I knew there were others but I am not going to bother to log in to check.

For online shop, I will enter at the "promised" time on the email confirmation. However, if I get a text sooner that says the order is ready, i will enter. There is a barcode they scan inside to let you know it's ready. I document this in the narrative and never have had a problem. I even emailed an IPSOS employee about this and it was verified that it was okay to do this.

Only 1x out of the 50+ online shops I have done, did a location "cheat" and try to make it look like they were getting orders out quicker than the promised time. I went inside with the text notification and the order was not ready. It is possible they scanned the wrong one accidentally, but it's also possible the location was trying to cheat the metrics and make it appear it was ready quicker. I have no proof either way, but i certainly documented my disdain for the false hope of food being ready when it was not. I would have rather had just come in at the promised time. Under-promise and over-deliver, other way around will lead to disappointed customers.
Thoroughly explained in the guidelines, as others have pointed out.

This is my preferred PX shop. I park close to the location and place my order. Then I do Words With Friends until it's time to head inside.

Anyone who is surprised when an order is not ready in advance of the quoted delivery time is obviously not clear on the concept.

I use the time mentioned in the emailed receipt, as sometimes the app/website may show a different time. If I get a text saying my order was ready at an earlier time, I mention that in the report. The food is still acceptably hot (or warm, at least) if it's in that sealed container for around 10 minutes before I arrive. But I wonder if Panda has a policy about making sure the order is prepared closer to the time requested if ASAP isn't already chosen. Actually, I'm kind of surprised they don't require us to choose ASAP and order from the parking lot to begin with (similar to when I order online from a chicken finger restaurant for another MSC).
Sorry, but it seems like this could apply to a lot of things.
