15 years in the business ! I have already learned what
to do and what not to do !!! FREE ?!?!? Maybe ...
If it's free and being held within walking or commuting distance, I'd go just for kicks. I'd spend $ (hotel, meals, airfare, etc.) only if it coincidentally is to held somewhere I was already planning for a trip.
I have been and it was nearly as much fun as the IMSC ones used to be.
It's not free, far from it. And it's never somewhere I could commute to. The last convention I stayed in a hotel for was for aquarium enthusiasts. So far these shopperfests have been in vastly different parts of the country from where I am, when I was in CA they all seemed to be in TX or on the East Coast. Now that I'm in the Eastern part of the country it seems they stay West of TX.
Never understood why people attend. Seems like a waste of money.

When conferences are in places like Vegas it's a tax write off vacation.
I always attend the Substitute Teacher's conference. I enjoy the sessions and I enjoy chatting with other substitute teachers.

I'd enjoy Shopperfest, I'm sure. But not going to travel for it.

Can you imagine trying to schedule mystery shops in the same city as a convention lol? I bet there are none left! grinning smiley
I'm interested in going this year, as Orlando is only two hours from me. I wonder how many people attend and if it is a big deal or not. I've been to giant conventions and teensy ones, and you never know what you're going to get until you walk in. A giant one would be worth the money for me.
Unlikely

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Am I remembering correctly? Wasn’t it in Pittsburgh 2023? It is in Fla for 2024.
For those interested in the programs, here is the schedule: [mspaamericas.growthzoneapp.com]. There was nothing in there that interested me. I wonder if the Nikster is teaching the "How to have a great relationship with your scheduler." smiling smiley

As wales said: "unlikely." -lol-

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

I would go for an hour so then head to Disney....
Once again, I will be busy flossing my pet piranhas' teeth as I have each year since I first heard of shopper fest. I figure doing so is far more sensible and productive.

I'd go if I could get disney convention rates?
