Sonic Fries

This really isn't shop related, but for anyone who does Sonic shops regularly, has anyone been served the new fries that Sonic has introduced? They are called "Groovy Fries" which I guess is their name for Crinkle Fries. It's supposed to be available nationwide in May, but some stores are already serving them. I had my first order today, and they aren't bad at all. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like regular crinkle fries. According to the reports I've seen, they are supposed to come with "Groovy Sauce" but I wasn't given any. Maybe that will be automatic when it rolls out fully. This might disappoint some folks who loved their traditional fries.

I wonder if those will be allowed as part of the shops? I'm betting no.

"Groovy sauce" could be gravy.

I had a shop today, this is where I received these new fries. Actually these are replacing the straight cut fries, so those won't be available anymore. From what I read, the Groovy Sauce is a ranch sauce with Siracha flavoring.

I hope you put a note in the comments about the fries; otherwise, the editor may unknowingly reject it for "ordering an unapproved item."

Yeah I read that locations were already receiving the new fries when their stock of the original fries were exhausted. My shop was accepted with no issues, maybe the editors received notice that the fries were changing. I haven’t seen a price increase, but it may very well happen when they are rolled out officially next month.

I'm more of a Tots guy when I hit Sonic, but just might try the new fries.

IF I do a Sonic, I may try the new fries. But I'm very picky when it comes to fries, and if you need to put something on them, other than salt and pepper, to make them edible, I'll stick with tots.,
