5 Guys Burgers removed from campaign

So I just found out that I have been removed from the Five Guys mystery shopping campaign due to most likely having been made as a shopper in one of the restaurants. I have never told anybody at any of their locations that I was a mystery shopper, and I don't behave like a mystery shopper - just a regular customer who really likes burgers and fries. I have done a few dozen of them over the course of a year or more and I'm wondering if exceeded my limit ???? or could it possibly be because the client's mad at me for having rescheduled too many times. It's not a terrible disappointment because I probably shouldn't be eating this many burgers and fries anyway, but I'm just curious if this has happened to anybody else.

I was temporarily removed last year or maybe the year before. But have had a difficult time getting any at my price ever since. I figured the MSC wanted them done for less, and removed me so the schedulers would have to find someone cheaper. Lol. Even if they didn't. That's what happened.

Same exact thing happened to me, too. Still kicked out.
I've been blocked from one particular location where I was apparently identified as a mystery shopper, but never from all of them. That seems a bit extreme.
I've been banned from a certain cell phone shop. I was told because I was outed as a shopper. I can understand banning me from the one shop, but not all of them. It seems like someone at this MSC likes banning people. Maybe they are trying to get back at the MSC.
Call the MSC. They're generally very good at communications when you get the USA offices and helpful. They may let you back in.
I was just banned from a particular type of shop because I contacted the scheduler to reschedule....first time I rescheduled after doing that shop for nine years. Now, I see that location just sitting there on the board, hard to fill I guess. Oh well. Life goes on.

Sounds like the work of Nikki or Elise!

Elise just rescheduled a shop for me that I accidently scheduled for the wrong day. She did so quickly, and with a friendly vibe. No issues, or snark in any way.

They will all just stop appearing on your board. When I asked the Help Desk they told me that it was temperary and they would reappear after a month or two and they did

You should be able to reschedule a 5 Guys shop with the current MSC at least once by yourself.
The problem is that Five Guys will get the date and time of your visit from the report and actually pull the video footage to determine who the shopper is. I’ve heard this over and over again about Five Guys. Seems like it defeats the purpose of mystery shopping, but Five Guys are also the ones who want to know why you didn’t rate all their employees as “highly enthusiastic.”

Thats weird....

Five guys is one of those shops that doesn't make you act like a mystery shopper. You're not taking pictures of your food deconstructed and laid out in front of you, you're not counting the number of ice cream cakes in the freezer (I'm looking at you Baskin Robbins), you're not asking obtuse questions to test the knowledge of the guy behind the counter.

Hate to say it but it sounds like its an administrative issue because unless you're not policing your actions in the store, you shouldn't be identified as a shopper.
Early on in the Five Guys shop when I hastily went through the qualifying questions I answered the medical condition yes. They were removed temporarily, for about a week I believe.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Interesting. I've done FG for 2+ years now, many of them. Never ever had a problem. I notice today that the one closest to me is no longer on the list not just fr this week, but for the next month. There's (3) of them I do monthly and this was one of them. The others are still up.

I remember reading some time ago here that FG corporate makes the staff watch video footage if there's a negative report and, well, a week ago I had no choice but to blast the fries. I wonder if something happened related to that. OR is staff getting smart and if they know a shopper isn't an easy-perfect, do they "identify" him and get him kicked off. Oh well. Funny part is this one routinely gets bonused with the lowest fee I've seen in months is $22.00. I guess not for me. There was times I did it for 18 only because it was so close.

The company gives the time and receipt price so all 5 Guys managers have to do is look up the video and see who are which is ridiculous. They know who all the shoppers are and they share with other local managers.
I was also removed from Five Guys shops. The MSC rep said the manager identified me as a shop. My idea is that I completed too many shops.
The shops appear on the board, but when you try to schedule them, it says they are not available

I had the same thing happen. My feeling is the company has someone just banning shoppers just becaise they can. There is no reason to ban anyone from all the shops because you were outted from one.

So you have been banned from 2 different companies now?!
You do realize Guitarzan isn't referring to IPSOS, don't you?

You could have someone working for 2 MSC.
What is guitarzan? Also haven't done 5 Guys for a long time because of the ban-are they still with the power one?
Scroll up, guitarzan is a poster's screen name.

And what's power one? If its a reference to the MSC, it hasn't changed in years.

If you've been banned scroll back or search. Many people have been reinstated after asking. I'm one of them

Niiki and Elise are great. They responded to emails right away and were helpful!

I was apparently removed from the 5 Guys program and their fast food chicken restaurant 7 years ago. Even after asking, they never told me why. For a while, I actually thought they had just stopped doing them because i couldn't see any on the board. I only ever shopped 1 location, but several times over the course of the 5 years prior. None of my experiences were ever really bad, maybe a "No" here and there but nothing serious. I don't recall cancelling any. Interestingly, I was still able to do the hedgehog client up until they lost them last year, so I'm still stumped.
