So excited!

After a long hiatus with not much available on Intellishop, I have found what I believe are interesting shops here in Phoenix. I have one next week for $30 to take a cab from the airport to downtown (with reimbursement) and another one to take a Waymo automated/driverless car from the airport to somewhere downtown for $20 (and also with fare reimbursement). Glad to be back into this, hope I can find some momentum, if even it's just an occasional thing.

I wish we had driverless cars in NYC.

It's very disconcerting to see them on the streets, though. I did a double-take the first time I saw one in Austin.

They are really aggressive in downtown SF. I keep waiting to see a crash. People like to set them on fire in SF too. It's quite an experience.

America is so litigious. I don't see driverless cars being able to operate everywhere. Limited geo-fenced areas, maybe.
I don't plan on using them, but it seems they have a better track record than Telsa's look ma no hands feature. CRASH! On the other hand, those Google driverless cars are all over SoCal taking pictures of everything on Earth with no problem.
I was shocked to see one run a red light once. There was no passenger and luckily, no one was hit!
Interesting @veebeeshops
I'm embarrassed to say I ran a red light 2 weeks ago.
My thought was, a driverless car would not do that.

My brother-in-law bought a Tesla, and I rode with him once. Just once. Going 75 down the freeway in Austin with the car driving itself....no thank you. -lol-

Wait until you see the price they will charge to take the bullet train. I live close to Dallas and was excited about going to San Antonio for a weekend. One way is over $300. Then you have car parking as well as other transportation. I think a lot of corporations might use it as well as the rich.
It is going to come through within a mile of where I live. They are grabbing people's land for very little money. Also, unless they elevate the track, it cuts your city in half. They do not have cross overs like a regular train. There are concrete barriers along all the tracks because of the speed. This is why a lot of farmers and ranchers were complaining. Driving 50 miles to get to the other side is not uncommon.

I don't live in Austin, Texans. I just visit family there.
