Where are the Sonics for July?

I don't think mine pre-makes anything. I almost wish they would. I am going to wait at least 15-20 minutes for my order.
My kingdom for food that is actually cooked after I order it. It only ever happens at one out-of-town location I hit.

Hasn't happened yet, but there's always a first time for everything.

i got a notice that they were changing the requirements and would be able to order chicken, burgers, and hotdogs so they may be working on the new information.

Texas is an entirely different animal. Small towns here won't have a grocery store and may only have one gas station and a blinking yellow stop light, but you can count on them having a Sonic or a Dairy Queen (sometimes both.)

Several years ago, I took a six-week road trip up north that covered 21 states. (Everything is "up north" when you're as far south as you can get.) The further north I went, the sparser Sonics got. My traveling companion (who isn't a shopper) noticed and said she was ready to return south because she missed the Sonic ice.

Interesting. Sonic has 3,522 restaurants in the United States. Of these, 942 are in Texas, or 27% of all Sonics.

Oklahoma is a distant second with 268 Sonics.

San Antonio is the city with the most Sonics. It has 44 of them. Wow.

See what I mean? -lol- You never have to go far to find a Sonic in Texas.

Well, the new Sonics have dropped.

Unfortunately, none of them dropped near me. -wails-

Same here, plenty for the state south of me but none in my state. Maybe they are releasing them state by state.
Here in some of the usual locations, but not in some others. Odd.
I've never eaten at a Sonic, nor even seen one. I generally don't eat fast food and only do fast food shops if I am not required to eat the food and report on the taste. Is their food decent? Just curious.
I've got standard burger drive in and LTO drive thru scenarios but only 3 locations are available, all in the same town, and nothing else within 100 miles of them (and there are plenty of Sonics). Weird.

nyc, you may want to avoid these. Your stomach would probably thank you for doing so.

Sonic’s quality has tanked over the last few years. Not that it was ever all that great, but it’s even worse now. If I do six Sonic’s, I know I’ll be sick at least three times.

You don't have to eat the whole thing, one bite is enough to tell you if you like it or not. You could actually just taste it and spit it out. The tots are good but it gets old fast. I sometimes take a family member and they get a free meal. All in all for the time they take not a bad gig and better with bonus'.
The shops are not even on my job board yet.
I guess I am lucky. Most of the Sonics near me are awesome. I once spent some time working in SE Asia and the first thing I wanted when I came home was a Sonic burger.
There's a place here in neighboring Podunk called TX Burger. A 1/4lb burger, a chicken sandwich, and 2 large fries will run almost $30, but it tastes so much better than Sonic.

I was just on the website, I didn't see any Sonics, but I also wasn't looking for them. But I did get an Outback lunch, much better food.
None in my area either. I am close enough to check for 3 states and none showed up within my radius.
I shop eastern OK and Western AR, still nothing.
Nothing is showing up in a 100-mile radius. This encompasses Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
I did a search, all the way into KY, GA and VA, no sonics here, AND on Presto I searched for the Visa card shops in most of the same areas, no luck. If I have to go to TX to get a Sonic shop I'm going to blow off the shop and spend $$$$ on meat and pull a commercial freezer back with me on a trailer.
The LTO allows only the special item and a drink (if you want). No side. There is no list of acceptable drinks, nor does it prohibit the ones that have traditionally been excluded on regular shops. So, back to the old debate of whether a shake is a drink! It comes with a straw, so I say yes. I might have to fight about it. If the instructions were clear there would be no debate. Just trying to make the most of the reimbursement, depending on the price of the special item.

How unappealing. Personally, I think it's better to stick to fast food shops that don't require tasting the food because at least then I can give away a fully intact meal to a homeless person/panhandler who really needs it. Plus I really hate fast food.
