Applebee's promo drink and food shop

Can I sign up for the Applebee's free appetizer and use it during my shop? You get a free app when you join their club. I would still be making a food purchase (the specs call for a specific drink and a food item of shopper's choice, but also says "Additional items are welcome!"). I wouldn't want to be DQ'd for using a freebie if it's not allowed. TIA!

I saw the Applebees shops, and the mellow mushroom shops this round. I can't do the Applebees shops because the drinks are made with rum, even the smallest sip will give me a hangover that I can't deal with. And I can't do the mellow mushroom shops because the required cocktail is strawberry flavored, I didn't look any further. You folks have a blast.. I'm sitting this one out.

Hmm Yes I was told it was fine by the scheduler email box.I did the shop Thursday and it was approved with no intervention needed on my part.
This is the question I asked:
"Can I use an offer for a free appetizer in addition to getting the promo drink and a food item of my choice?"

I had to get a twisted tea, which I despise and unfortunately it came in a bottle so the bartender could see that I barely touched it. ( Although if she thought I was a shopper she didn't put any more effort into my service!)
