Being taken over by a fear.... ????A fear of no more Texas Roadhouse shops... someone tell me something good!

I've noticed that there were ZERO TR shops in my search area. There are never zero. There are always a stray 1 or 2 that people have given back etc. I had to expand my search to 200 miles to find any and they are just random bar shops....... as though this is it folks.....it couldn't be possible that TR is no more......... COULD IT

Have you ever considered looking at some other areas to see if there are Texas Roadhouse shops?
They are still posted for the NYC northern suburbs. Maybe the ones in your area were only being shopped by the franchise owner? Or on a regional basis by Texas Roadhouse? Or were shopped by a competitor?
I just did one yesterday, again today, and have another scheduled for Friday. I also got a text asking me to take another one this week. I'm kinda TXRHed out right now.
November shops were released the earliest I have ever seen. If you were checking on November 10th other shoppers had a long time to snatch them up.

TXR is handing out coupons for one free entre to all US military and Vets tomorrow. No reports necessary.
Stop with the fear mongering...

The Mango Margaritas are divine. I try to avoid having those every time I go. Even if it sends me over reimbursement, the lure of that drink is too strong for me to resist.
I just stuffed myself full of bread less than a week ago. I'd had it scheduled well in advance, so yeah, if you waited until yesterday, you likely missed out.

They have a hard time filling the one here. I wish they still did the take out shops. I am not going to go spend 2 hours waiting in a table for a free meal, then still have a report to do. The food is not that good. My local Cookout fast food place makes burgers 100x bettter and at half the cost.
Part of the shop is to call ahead and get on the waitlist. Why are you waiting 2 hours on site?

I also miss the TRH take out shops... I wonder why they do not do them any more

The last time my wife helped me with one, she called and ask about the call ahead seating.. After she did that, we left... Took us about 10-15 minutes to get to the restaurant. Once we got there, we were seated right away smiling smiley

Our restaurant does not have a waitlist and haven't since they opened earlier this year. They stay packed, but the place is poorly run. Out of about 7 to go orders, I have only had one actually be completely correct. Even to go orders they tell you not to go by the time you are given. Instead, they call you when your order is ready so you can go through the drive thru to pick it up.

I live in a city full of crackheads and idiots who dont give a crap about doing a good job, so TR is hardly the only place with issues. Gordon Ramsey is opening a restaurant here and as much as I want to try it, i am sure it won't be too good.
Isaiah, I think they started dropping the take out shops as the pandemic eased.
I noticed the sharp rise and then decline, coincided with the virus timeframe.

I was just remembering a good TR memory. A few years ago, we were traveling a couple hundred miles to make it home for Thanksgiving. The night before Thanksgiving, we stayed at a hotel (using points!) where the TR was adjacent. I had already signed us up for a shop at that location. We walked over, had a drink, ordered our meals, the line dancing and peanut throwing started lol - it was crowded and everybody there was in a festive mood, I guess due to a long holiday weekend...lots of fun and good meal for $0. Used gas cards for the gas....money hacking, it's a crazy life lol.

YIKES! I live in the city where corporate is located and that is not my experience at all. I have never waited over 10 minutes. I usually have no wait at all.

Mine also ran out of hamburgers and rolls for dang near a week back in September. I was trying to use my free appetizer coupon for my birthday and wanted to get a burger to go with it. Every single time I tried to order, no burgers. No rolls. I think they were even out of potatoes. I ended up letting the coupon expire.

Tonight at Walmart I found Texas Roadhouse frozen rolls. This is my first time seeing them in the store, so I am excited to try them. @drdoggie00 want to have a date where we just eat frozen Texas Roadhouse rolls?
