Naw Service, that would involve letting someone else touch my phone. That's not happening, at least not in this lifetime.

Did you take photos with time stamps? Perhaps the receipt time was off.

Did a Quick Quack car wash yesterday.
You'd think after doing hundreds of these my MO would be down cold.
Started the Voice Recorder app, and, instead of placing my phone face down on my dashboard as I always do, I placed it back on its magnetic mount.
So the display screen showing the audio recording meters alive and kicking was fully visible to the cashier.
They made sure their name tag was visible when they returned with my receipt. It was under their jacket when they greeted me...

I hope it doesn't turn out to be a boneheaded move.....I impulsively jumped on a recent fragrance shop...the report looks quite simple....I get that it's not a fee or reimbursement, just offsetting the cost in exchange for feedback...can't report until the package arrives.
I've never done one before...fingers crossed, wondering what could go wrong lol....

Hi MDS, I just finished the fragrance shop...they must have someone come across inventory because suddenly the package showed up and I was able to finish the report. Technically, I wouldn't call it a mystery shop. It was really pure market research. Either way I got a huge discount on one of my favorite scents.
I wish we had a heads up when these are coming, so we can grab them quickest lol.

Ever get the nozzle stuck in your gas hole?

So it is not just me. I won't disclose my approaches to save numerous shops where I ate some or all the food before taking a picture.

Ever get the nozzle stuck in your gas hole? I did. Pushing, pulling and turning did nothing. It wouldn't let go. I quote]
Soooooo much more embarrassing than a stuck nozzle; I ripped the hose off the gas pump. I left the gas pumping while checking there was a squeegee, washed my windshield and then hopped in and pulled away with the hose attached. I went and let the clerk know the hose was laying on the ground and he was nice about it. (There was no gas spill and the clerk can reattach the hose.) I've been back to this station, same clerk works there and he does not appear to remember me.
