*Be careful* with MF phone assigned shops

Just passing this on. I got a call center inquiry for the "Burger" shop and I accepted the assignment yesterday, 2/14. He asked me which date and I DID say 2/14 because this Burger was next to my DD's high school here'd id be dropping her off for an activity that night. Ok, cool. I drop her off, go do the shop, drive home pleased that I made use of my time . Last night I go to do my report and I can't - why? The call center guy assigned me the shop for FEB 15 (today). This is *never* happened before so to be honest, I don't check the date assigned as it's always been perfect. I should've known better, this guy's every 3rd word was "uh" or "okay" smiling smiley.

I'm not gonna cancel now because MF I feel has been fair to me in the past - they listened to my case and worked with me so basically I'll re-do the shop tonight and after the extra $17 expense I'll make $3 bucks for my time smiling smiley (No, I won't eat beyond one bite - I feel the burgers are a shame - Fast Food burgers are better even smiling smiley

So just passing this along - if you aren't doing it - as I wasn't - double check the assigned date on call-center assigned shops.

Seems like at least in my area MF has very few shops- income tax prep shops- I cannot do any of those as we have a VERY complicated tax return and would trust for it to be done on a shop nor do I think the company would want to do it! And the only other shops are burger shops and I refuse to travel and eat that food for a low $9 fee and seems someone around here jumps at it- they must be starving or hard up or both. I get emails about mattress shops but none actually on the board and to be tormented by a commission salesperson for $10 is not in the cards for me. used to do a lot for MF not anymore.
Please remember to check their website after a shop is assigned via phone to make sure everything is correct. You should also have received an email. Both would have shown you Feb 15.
100% I did get the email and 100% it did say 2/15 - I admit that 100%. Just with all the shops I've done - the date was always correct , I just never thought I had to check. I will from now on for sure. I just posted here hoping it might save someone else from assuming.
Tried last night to change date it said "this shop has already been reported" - so oh well, it's basically just wasting a bit of time tonight. It happens.

If you're able to get a response from Help Desk in time, someone may be able to update/adjust the shop for you.
With my experience: I will never take shop with call from MF. in the past they call me with offers that are far away. and refuse to assign that are next to me.
