Outback Steakhouse anymore?

Hi, not asking which company, but just asking if Outback still needs shoppers. I haven't seen any Outback shops in 2 months.

They don't seem to be shopped monthly, at least in my area. The last email I received was for January shops.
I haven't seen one since they showed up on another MSC in my area late last year. However, I don't miss them much considering Texas Roadhouse shops are more plentiful and easier to do.
They changed the company 3 times as I recall. I had fun doing them for first two but the last one wouldn't assign me one so screw them.
Hopefully whoever offers them next will let us use our rewards during a shop. I can understand not allowing coupons, but this seemed like an odd restriction since they had questions related to the rewards program to begin with. You think the server might get suspicious if they look you up, find you have a reward expiring very soon (maybe the same day), but then you say you don't want to use it during that visit.

I did an Outback shop last summer where I used my rewards on the shop and the shop was accepted. If I remember correctly, they didn't want shoppers using coupons but using the rewards was acceptable.

I did as well but the guidelines changed. It wasn't allowed on the next one I did so I was glad I'd gotten my free onion. AND, they don't exclude the specials so the 3-course meal is OK as are the Tuesday and Wednesday promos.
They almost didn't take mine since a reward was applied to the bill. I was told "this time, but next time it won't be accepted."

I haven't seen one of these shops in a long time.
I know that some of theses restaurants have those little things at the table where you can pay your bill, type in your # for rewards, etc.

But on the days you do a mystery shop, you don't put your # in thing, or you don't tell the sever / cashier that you are a rewards member. Just do it like way back before everyone had a cell phone and theses restaurants offer rewards every time you dine with them. Just put your phone away and enjoy your meal. Unless you need it for pictures or timings.

Yes, you can always pay without giving them your info for the rewards program. Then you can request the points via their website after your visit. If you have rewards to use, just plan a separate visit. But it would still be nice if we could use rewards during future shops.
I had one 3 months ago and it was cancelled before I went. I have not seen one since.

I just did one Saturday.
Was it the same MSC? I would Hope So. Or did it move somewhere else?
My guess is they move from company to company thinking they're getting new shoppers to shop. What they don't know is it's the same band of shoppers on all the MSCs.
