USPS Shops

Only photos of issues found on the exterior are what they are looking for. Their guidelines are so poorly written, it is hard to get that info.

Its actually illegal to take photos inside a Post Office. This MSC is so clueless about this whole program, they might not even know that.

I communicated with scheduling tem a couple weeks ago. I case of emergency they wanted me to schedule shops that are few weeks from time thy call me. I tried to tell them that shops are not grocery shops that I need to do. But they continied to call me from different numbers and several schedulers asked o do shops.
They added the screenshot of the hours because they had people completing the shops in the first and last 30 minutes of the day. They think this will stop that.

Its asinine, really. But they don't have experienced people running this program, so they just keep adding more conflicting guidelines and steps they think will "help" the MSC, but make it worse and worse for the shopper.

They added more annoyances for Hazmat - you now have to take a screenshot of the hours on the USPS website. AND you have to sign stating that you read the directions. I know for a fact they don't update that around holiday time. I went for a shop and it was supposed to be open, but closed early so I had to delay the shop. I send them pics of the hours posted on the storefront as well as a screenshot of the hours on the app. They make it so annoying and then they don't pay well. The reimbursement for Ground Advantage is no longer fully covered. I might not do these anymore at all. They call and hound me begging me to take shops. They could just pay us better.

I did two USPS Haz Mat shops the other day. I used the "Shipping a package for my mom" scenario, and my packages were not accepted.

That's fine, so I purchased 3 stamps ($2.19) as the expense, on both shops.

When the shops were graded, I noticed that I was only reimbursed for the cost of 1 stamp ($0.73) in each shop.

Cheap bastards. :-)

FWIW, I've always bought 4 stamps if the package is refused and I've always been reimbursed the full amount. I have one pending payment with $2.92 reimbursement. It must have been an error for them to only pay for 1 stamp. I would question it. I would love to try a sheet of stamps, but I don't want to be the guinea pig. I don't use many stamps these days anyway. They really should reimburse the same amount as if it were shipped or at least $10-$12. It would make them more desirable.
