Aeropostale shop...help!

Anyone else doing these this weekend? I did 3 of them since the bonuses were up. The only way the web site allows me to select the date is by clicking on the calendar. When I do this, it pops up as "8/13/2011." When I go to submit the report, it says the date format is incorrect and should be "08/13/2011." However, it won't let me type in the date box- just use the calendar and it keeps placing the incorrect format in the box. I emailed for help, but they are gone for the weekend. I have $45 in these shops for three- so I don't want to lose money because I can't submit them. Anyone have any ideas?

Try not selecting the date from the calendar and just manually put in 08/13/2011 from the start. I haven't done these shops, but sometimes the software 'helps' are just too flaky to deal with.
I tried that but the site will not let me manually put in the date. On some shops, I do manually type it but it will not work here. Very frustrating!
Send an email to the scheduler in charge of Aeropostle. That should keep you out of trouble...

I did that. I just hope that when she sees it Monday morning, I can still get my reimbursements and shop fees- I've done dozens of these in the past with no problems and I don't want to lose money when it is the site that isn't working.

That companies software is not often the most user friendly. I tend to get lots of error messages that I have to ignore when using it. Are you using Internet Explorer. I usually use Firefox and have it go through ok, but if you are having trouble they will say it is because you used the wrong browser. I so dislike all things Microsoft
I downloaded Firefox but it still doesn't work properly. This has to be a glitch with the site. It will not let me type the date in myself, but it always loads the wrong one. Out of two years and dozens of shops, this is the first time I have had this problem.
Whoops.. I forgot a sentence in my last e-mail. I use firefox and usually get it to work, however, the MS expects you to use Internet Explorer. There reports are quick unless you get an error message just before uploading and lose everything. I wish they would get something more stable to for their browser.
What about version numbers? Is this perhaps a site that needs something earlier than IE 9?
I've tried all three shops and none of them will go. IE 9 should work- I did one of these shops last week and two the week before.
I really think that company just has PITA recording. I did three reports last night.... Two worked beautifully and one had to be repeated three times because of the errors.
Did you go to their FAQ page. They have a list of what to do to when you have an error message. I know that if you don't do all of that, they will blame you for the fact that their website is only shakily functional.
I looked, but I see nothing about dates coming up wrong and not being able to type them.
I tried again in Firefox and finallly got it to work. Thanks everyone for the suggestions, and for letting me vent. I've done over 900 shops in two years for this company, many of them more detailed and complicated, and never had this much trouble. I didn't want to lose the bonused commissions, but I especially didn't want to lose the fact that I have $45 in them...much different than the usual two or three dollars!
