Q2 Valero's

Valero has posted. In my area, they seem to have duplicated the listings. I am only assigning myself 1 but wonder what happens if someone comes along and takes one I already took.

I am not seeing the dark audits. Do those posts at a different time? Or do they only do those once a year?

January was the first time I saw the dark audits, and i've been doing the valeros for several years. I wonder if they were just doing it once a year, similar to some of the other stations that do nighttime audits.

It appears that the duplicates have been removed. Darn I was hoping for the dark audits again. Those were easy and fun.

A while back many of the Conocos posted as duplicates. At first, I would just take one of each, and let someone else do the other. After a while I said screw it, and started taking the duplicates a few days after I had submitted the first one. I figured someone would eventually do them, why not me? Nothing bad happened.

Are we doing these for $12?

Not me. Mine are nasty and scary.

Not here, I wouldn't touch one for base pay, The last Valero I did was $30, actually maybe more.. It was a while ago. Whoever was doing them at base pay that round must have gotten mad, about 2/3 of them popped back on the board and got bonuses not long after that. I took an entire city near here with a nice bonus on each, and then I picked up all but that really bad one in the big city north of me for better bonuses. I think I did a total of 6 or 7 at the very end of the round that time.. I hate doing Valeros, out of all of the stations in my area, only 2 are nice, clean and well maintained, and they are across the street from each other.

I'm not seeing any postings of any kind on the app except for the airport. No gas stations, no shoes, nothing. I keep emailing but never get a response back.

Are you looking at the MCS's Mobi-knockoff app? That's where they would be. I just use the Shopmetrics website. It doesn’t get stuck like the app.

I would say use caution in deciding which shops to perform. My last and only one was locked even though the sign says open in bright lights. I took a pic of the door sign and overall site and when I got in my car to leave someone pulled up and followed me until they saw the cop parked not far from the highway. Only then did they turn back. Just know the general area you're going in cause you never know.
