Cruise Mystery Shops

Does anyone know if there are any cruise companies that have mystery shops? I heard a mystery shopper say she was doing a shop for a major cruise company on one of her tik toks.

I have seen mystery shops posted with a NARRATIVE-intense MSC.

Does not seem like fun for a 7 day cruise to have all these interactions and to keep track of them all. That would detract from the experience. It's the same reason why I won't do casino overnight shops. I don't want to have to interact with each shift (dealers, cage, security, servers, etc).

Can you imagine booking a cruise and missing 1 or 2 of the required interactions and now you don't get reimbursed and you lost all your time for that?

I assumed it was probably from that TikTok account. You might want to read the threads about her on this forum.

There are several threads here about a bogus lady that charges for a class she gives on how to mystery shop. She's on Tik Tok I believe recording her supposed shops.

Bob emphatically agrees--Folks, it is not prudent, in this day of shop rejections, to front four figures and work one's self into a frenzy on a vacation you will probably not enjoy.

I mentioned a couple months ago the story of my acquaintence who recently fronted a cruise for himself and his wife and he caught the norovirus on the ship and was too sick to do his observations....
so he ate the cost of the cruise X 2.....seems as if she got sick too.

Thanks for your insight about the cruise. But I didn't ask for your advice or direction in what I do with my spare time. That is not what the post was about. TikTok has been great to me. I learned of 2 business ideas from the creators there. Those two ideas turned into businesses that are bringing in real income, so I do not have to clock into a 9-5. Tik tok was how I found out about Mystery Shopping, which has been a blessing. So be careful of the advice that you give people. You may cause someone to not connect with their blessing. You be blessed and have a great weekend

jwhenry, I think most of us here give the other posters the benefit of the doubt....we assume they're savvy enough to either take the advice or leave it, whatever works for them.

So...no advice needed, except where to get the cruise shops?

FWIW; all of the cruises I shopped were comped for me by the cruise company, so I would not have been out much $$ in the case of a rejection (outside of travel and my fee + tips), but that's also why those shops can be so hard to get. The MSC wants someone with a track record.
