Where di dal the shops go?

Usually, at the end of a month or the beginning of a new month, there are lots of shops. This month, there doesn't seem to be very many shops listed on the websites.

I've noticed that as well. I thought it was due to the holiday, but they still haven't been posted.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I'm guessing they went to shoppers who comprehend the concepts of proofreading and spell checking. I can only imagine what your narratives look like.

No wonder we have a massive orange turd in the Oval Office...

Seriously though, I've noticed a difference with some of the gas brands now that the releases are staggered over a few months rather than all at once.

I admit that I did have to re-read Insight’s header a few times before I deciphered it…but I don’t think that proves he is responsible for the orange turd.

Lol. I thought the thread was about a perfume place or something. But to answer the question, it seems like the MSCs are now trying to finish the quarterly shops in May, where they used to run into June. With all the quarterly shops done, the monthly ones are getting snapped up quicker too.

I'm glad all of you fingered that out, I didn't. Of course, I didn't try. I spent too many years in chat rooms on AOL to spend any effort on deciphering folks' bad spelling or inability to type real words.

Texans, why is it that you think my comment about needing to re-read the title a few times due to the misspelling is stupid?

Maybe you misunderstood my response to CoolMusic’s attempt to find a correlation between the misspellings and an orange turd. I basically said that, to believe there is a connection between the two is a stretch. I guess you disagree.

Regarding the OP’s observation, yea, it does seem like there have been fewer assignments available. I haven’t picked any up in awhile. The ones that are available tend to be picked up at too low of a rate than I am interested in.

I have no issue with his description of the orange turd in the oval office. I only thought he was a bit mean when I did not thoroughly spell check the title.

I though it as overly harsh too...just a misspelling..lol

Well, maybe dude just needed to vent some frustration (I think a lot of us can relate to that, me included). Having fewer 'good' assignments to choose from doesn't help!

Marathon shops disappeared early off of the Job Board of that well known MSC. I thought there were desperate shoppers needing the money, and that it was the beginning of summer which influences the demand. Then, a couple of days ago, scores appeared on the job board in my area. I've picked up 10. And they have a $5 bonus.

Just an observation about the forum in general that I've noticed over the years, not just this thread...when a poster makes a derogatory remark that is aimed toward the left..it has been promptly reported and the poster is chastised. When a poster makes derogatory remarks that is aimed towards the right, the remarks remain and some jump in with agreement. I think it needs to go both ways..no double standards and no politics please.

I actually noticed this board tended to be free of political detritus of any kind,
until about 6 months ago and what came through since then was primarily from one or two
who sought out every opportunity.
It's natural when something goes on and on like that, eventually people lash back. There's only so much people will take and when they finally strike back, then it becomes an issue.
if we were ever to get a vote, I'd vote no politics here at all.

I'm with Bare, I can get my fill of politics on youtube and Faciebutts. I come here for mystery shopping news and conversations. I'm pretty sure that is the point of having a forum like this, to keep the nastiness of the world out while we talk about things that need to be talked about. Even in General Chat.

Adding to the strangeness of the missing Marathons, editing is taking over 2 weeks on these. At least in my area. And there is a new editor who doesn't seem to understand the program so I had to write a mini manifesto the other day explaining some basics to her. Ugh. $5 bonus not worth all this!
