Kroger Shops Have Posted

Kroger shops are on the board.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I cannot self-assign at this point in time. Anyone else having this occur? 5 star rating.

It's nice of you to post this, but I think you're making the website problem worse by publicizing it. We're all having problems with signing up. No surprise.

I received an email from the scheduler. It was odd:

The next round of Kroger shops will be released today. If you’re able to self-assign, keep an eye out and grab what you can.

If you aren’t able to self-assign, you’ll need to email me with all of your available dates. Be thorough—if you only send one date or none at all, I will need to move on to the next email.

Makes me wonder if they're going to scheduler assigned shops.

I don't know how saying that the website isn't functional as designed is causing a problem with their system. But we are having the same normal glitch.. shops post, system crashes, "down for maintenance" and then when you come back from getting a cup of coffee all the shops I want are gone.
Agreed. These are difficult as is. No need to post and make it more difficult.

No it's that the site is overloaded because the drop time is now public knowledge. I managed to get 6 before the bung up. I'll wait a bit and see if it loosens up. I even snagged a competitor instore, Yay!!

I have ONE so far.. and I wasn't even able to see they were posted at all until 12:09..
Yeah I know it's due to the site overload. They have a sign that says system maintenance now.
I seem to have lost my self-assign privileges. I may not request any this period, being the first time I've not done any since the program moved to this MSC.

unless you’ve shopped the same store 12-15 times in a year already, you haven’t lost self assign privileges if you still have 5 stars.

the site is so slow that you have to wait for the date selection tool to pop up, which could take a minute or two since the site is so slow.
Maybe you need to complete all of the certifications and read the guidelines before you are allowed. And yes, if you are patient and do have self assign, it should populate the drop down eventually.
I was concerned because I waited 5 minutes and the status did not change. But self-assign was available so I've gotten my fill.

Folks, I am far from the most patient shopper on the board, BUT, as more ICs learn of the drop day and time, this may become a greater short term problem. As for me, I shrug and deal. Today, I was able to snatch 3 before an appox. 30 min. difficulty. After that, I sailed through the remainder of my selections. Next month, who knows! What I do know is that the MSC has always paid me near the 15th of the month following submission of my report and has never pestered me. In addition, their response to my queries is first rate.
The good news is that I finally got 9 shops, not very many locally, but I got enough for buying groceries. The better news is that next round I should do better. After a solid month of telling the cell phone provider that I'm having signal problems, they finally said, "oh look, there is a problem with a tower in your area and we will definitely fix it." Not sure if I believe them, but there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

Not for a long time for most of us, if ever. No further announcement has been made.
Due to the website crashing from "newbie" shoppers, I would not reveal if and when Pickup Shops will post. If you have a good relationship with your scheduler, you may get a notification.

Just heard on the news they're going to close many stores. Get 'em while you can!

I looked it up 60 stores across the U S in the next 18 months.
I can think of one that should be.closed. It's 2 miles from another, run down and outdated. They don't even have a marked restroom (customers who ask are directed to the same SINGLE the employees utilize...) I was in there for a survey once and the entire back 1/3 of the store smelled like decaying flesh. I think it was because the delivery door was open and the dumpster was full of meat discarded after a power outage and it was hot outside. It literally was decaying flesh scenting the place.
