MSPA is it worth the fee?

I have been doing MS for 4 years. Nothing full time started with Postal shops because I sell on eBay. Just wanting to find more variety not just gas stations and Pizza Huts.

BTW, courses and certifications that don't come for free from the MSCs? Also no. Unless you are in Nevada, nobody pays to get into this and paying won't provide any advantage. There are plenty of scammers who would like you to believe otherwise.
I think it depends on you. Some people swear by it. The conference is a big networking event. I learned some stuff in my first year. To me, it's like a click. People would plan their vacations around these events because they are deductible as business events. I have seen some posts on Facebook where IPSOS wants certified video shoppers to do their videos. But other than that, I find it useless. I've been a member for years. As for the membership itself, I haven't benefited much. It is just a business expense on autopay.
Definitely will not find you more work.

I have a silver cert. Don't recall paying for the privilege, but it was a loooong time ago.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
I got gold certified in 2003. Silver was free. Gold was a conference and i learned a lot plus made contacts with MSC reps. It cost $99. There are 2 MSCs that offer shops to gold shoppers before sending out blast emails to everyone else. Since I mostly only do bonussed shops, I'd say not particularly beneficial anymore, especially since a lot of MSC reps from 2003 are no longer in the business.
