Jinya

Hi Everyone! I've been picking up assignments for the MSC that works with Jinya for a few years now. I've done other assignments for them and never had a report come back with an inquiry. This morning, I woke up to an email with many questions, where it seems both the manager and the server have refuted everything I have written up.

I will say the service and quality of Jinya can vary. I've had some really good experiences and mediocre ones. The reports are short and do not allow enough characters to sufficiently back up the responses. The client stated I rushed the checkout process, not allowing the server to ask for a Google Review or ask if I was a rewards member. My response was that the process was not rushed and that I understand, as MS, we cannot put a time limit when we dine in, as it will affect the outcome of the report and would be unfair to all parties involved.

There was another segment where I also rushed the server, not allowing them to make their recommendations. When in fact, the server did not offer any recommendations. The server was nice, but did not guide the entire recommendation process from appetizer, drinks, entree, and dessert.

The client is also refuting the cleanliness issue. I understand they allow for a certain number of photos to be uploaded and specifically linked. I always take extra photos and have them stored just in case of incidents like this, which has not happened.

Has anyone run into this issue before with the client?

Sorry this took awhile as I was waiting to see what would happen, as the MSC took awhile to get back to me. It was initially approved and they decided to go on the client’s word. Even though they stated they have video and audio recording of the entire restaurant experience. I find this to be odd, because the manager was nowhere on the floor, but they have video recording. I timed every interaction, the one time the server stopped by and etc. Needless to say I won’t be doing any more work for this MSC. Doing work for them for 10 years and this is my first rejected report. I also won’t be dining at Jinya anymore.
I don't blame you, I would be furious if a client didn't like my honest feedback and I didn't get paid because I was unaware they preferred flattering lies. That's not what MS is supposed to be about. I don't know this restaurant so no clue which MSC has them as a client.
I have had to clarify two questions before... they said the client had compared it with the video/audio recording and it did not match what I reported. I was honest and said I had seen it a different way and thus had scored them lower. My report was approved. So sorry you had to go through this. It seems the client takes great offense when their servers receive lower scores.
Thank you breadjin and paniconmon for the insight. The MSC owes me $800 for assignments done in the month of July. I will just await the payment and shut down my account after.
